At the weekend, we went to Disneyland to celebrate Penelope’s 5th birthday!
My whole family came too which was wonderfully chaotic!
It was so magical seeing the girls little faces & knowing they’ll remember this trip but I really had to keep telling myself they are babies, even at 5!
They were asleep before the fireworks, hardly ate anything other than candy floss & it took Penelope two days before she did all the rides in the second park🤣🙈
I was trying to take it all in as a mum & I think for a worrier, I did really well!
We didn’t over do it & I am so glad.
It’s my first time as a mum on this kind of trip & their first time in the hustle and bustle of it all so we all get a pat on the back!
It really was the happiest place on earth in between the tantrums for bubble wands and adults who forget that there are little people running around but I would do it all over again to hear them calling out for the princesses, seeing the castle light up & facing their little fears of rides!
Don’t forget we are the magic, whatever you do to make it special, it’s all you & be proud of that🩷
