Meet Dom:

"I chose to join FACER because I was drawn to the company’s strong values, supportive team culture, a reputation for quality output and dynamic ways of working. I appreciate any opportunity to take ownership and contribute directly to the business’s daily operational success.

I have joined FACER as Warehouse Operative, and manage and carry out all aspects of warehouse operations along with being upskilled into print finishing. With three years of experience in warehouse and logistics environments, I have strong organisational skills, efficiency, and a keen attention to detail.

I'm originally from Loughborough, and began my career in hands-on operational roles and quickly developed an interest in the structure and problem-solving involved in warehouse work. I really enjoy practical, process-driven tasks and take pride in keeping systems running smoothly and accurately.

Outside of work, I'm a petrol head and enjoy driving and strategy-based gaming, activities that allow me to combine focus, planning, and attention to detail - qualities I bring to Team FACER."

We’ve fallen more than a little in love with this luxury fragrance packaging.

Each design undeniably represents the candle inside the folding carton.

The 170ml is a fully printed graphic of the hand poured scented soy candle in recyclable amber glass jar and lid.

Whereas the 260ml is a simply powerful outline of the luxury amber glass jar that houses the candle with 60 hours burning time.

Showing you how you can cohesively communicate to your consumer in more than one way. šŸ–¤

Lois reflects on her time at .kitchen:

'I had the opportunity to host an Expert 1:1 event focused on packaging, at Mission Kitchen bringing together a fantastic group of new start-ups to talk all things packaging — from materials and sustainability to branding and production.

The goal of the session was simple: to create a space where early-stage food businesses could access tailored guidance on their packaging requirements. For many start-ups, packaging can be one of the most challenging (and costly) parts of launching a product — balancing functionality, compliance, and environmental responsibility while staying true to brand identity.

Throughout the day, it was inspiring to see how open and curious the founders were — asking thoughtful questions, sharing their experiences, and exploring creative ways to make their packaging both sustainable and market-ready. Our experts provided invaluable insight into:

🌿 Sustainable materials and practical ways to reduce environmental impact.

🧩 Design and usability, ensuring packaging supports both shelf appeal and customer experience.

šŸ“¦ Scalability and sourcing, helping founders plan for growth without compromising quality or ethics.

What really stood out to me was the power of collaboration — how much can be achieved when experts and entrepreneurs come together to share knowledge and solve real-world challenges.

A huge thank-you to everyone who joined us, especially the start-ups who brought their energy, creativity, and passion to the table. Events like this remind me why community spaces like Mission Kitchen are so special — they foster connection, innovation, and the collective drive to build a more sustainable future for food businesses.'

What is James actually doing? (Other than smashing our social media views and becoming a way bigger TikTok sensation than Luke could ever be!).

We’ll tell you…

Loading plates - all your digital artwork is lasered onto chemical-free plates, one for each colour involved in your packaging project

Inking up - with vegetable oil-based inks and water-based coatings, either good old CMYK or a brand guideline

Measuring colour and quality controlling - it’s got to be perfect and it’d got to be consistent

Finally, receiving sheets at the delivery - thundering through a litho print process in order to uphold brand integrity and maintain strong commercials

So… that’s what James is doing! šŸ’Ŗ
