Day 2 of UK Care Week at the NEC Birmingham 🫂

We've seen live product demonstrations, taken part in further training, seen loads of interactive stands and viewed some interesting client focused technologies 😃

Some of these have included:

The Virtual Dementia Tour - 'which is all about understanding what a person living with dementia experiences daily to gain a greater understanding. Only by being able to walk in the shoes of a person living with dementia can we truly understand the changes that we need to make to improve the quality of care, improve environments, improve attitudes and really improve lives.'

RNIB - who provide training, advice and information, best practice, policy information and research when working with people who have sight loss. They will be providing guidance, training and resources to help us support our blind and partially sighted clients.

The PainChek® App - is the world’s first clinically proven digital pain assessment tool. 😣

It's been a very busy couple of days! We're now looking forward to heading back to Cumbria with all of this new information 😁📝

We're at the NEC in Birmingham for UK Care Week! 🫂

UK Care Week is an 'inclusive event that provides industry-defining content, live product demonstrations and interactive features to equip you with the skills and knowledge to improve the lives of those you care for'.

We've already talked with, and heard from some industry leading businesses and experts, including Alzheimer's Society , NHS England , Log my Care , CQC, EF training Ltd , Homecare Association and many more!!
