💙 World Diabetes Day — 14 November 💙
This 14 November, is World Diabetes Day and raising awareness about diabetes — how it affects people, and how to spot the signs early.
Here’s what you should know:
🔹 You may experience symptoms of type 2 diabetes such as feeling very tired, peeing more than usual, being constantly thirsty or losing weight without trying.
🔹 You’re at higher risk if you’re overweight, inactive, or have a family history of diabetes.
🔹 Even if you don’t have symptoms, you might still be at risk — and that means now is a good time to check in with us.
🔹 Diabetes UK and the NHS emphasise the importance of prevention, early diagnosis and proper management so people can live well with diabetes.
🔹 The global theme this year centres around “Diabetes & Wellbeing” — highlighting not only physical health but the emotional and mental impact of living with diabetes.
