Direct Cremation - This week Gordon & Steve took a much loved lady on her final journey to Hereford Crematorium.
To carry out her wishes, we played her 2 favourite pieces of music on the way in the car. The one piece, Chesney Hawkes - I am the one and only was no doubt turned up!! 🎤🎤

Mothers Day can be a beautiful day - but it can also be a difficult day too.

While many are celebrating today, we know there are also many people carrying quiet feelings of loss, love and remembrance.

Today we are thinking especially of:
- Those who are missing their mum.
– Those facing their first Mother’s Day without her.
– Mothers grieving the loss a child.
– Those who longed to become mothers.
– And the women who became “like a mum” in someone’s life.

However today feels for you, please know your feelings matter.

A mother's love doesn't end when she's gone. It lives on in the memories we hold, the lessons she taught us and all the small moments that still remind us of her.

If today feels heavy, be gentle with yourself and please know you are not alone. Taking a quiet moment to reflect, looking through old photographs or visiting a special place can be a comforting way to remember the love that never fade.

This week has taken us to St Mary’s Church, Hay, for both a memorial service and a funeral service honouring two much‑loved gentlemen.
Although I have been here many times, this week it really stood out. The magnificent altar dressed in purple for Lent and the stunning organ sitting high with all its fine detail. A serene setting for moments of remembrance.
