Dear friends and followers,

The time has come for me to step away from social media. It's too loud, too enraged, too triggering for me. I have to stay true to my heart, and the anger at this dying system is dulling my connection to the Natural world... I need to stay strong and open to the subtle energies for what's coming. The hours I'm claiming back from scrolling and content manipulation will give me time to build community and listen to the more than human whispers on how to plan for a new, more feminine world.

Floral Ark is a sanctuary.

It is here for when you need to experience what is real and true. Know that we are all interconnected and rely on one another to live, and it is possible to live well and in balance with all beings. You can still find what is happening on the website, or you can email me.

Following my level 2 Reiki attunement, I'm on day 7 of my 21 days of clean living while adhering to the 5 Reiki principles.

Going well. Caffeine is out, but I found a new use for coffee grounds. A chemical-free, organic hair dye! Love my greys, yet sometimes I like to change it up. Loving the subtle golden hue. What do you think?

Welcome to Jupiter!

One of the 3 Guardian Horse drums and perfect for the Year of the Fire Horse 2026! A high vibration medicine drum born here in the beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog, surrounded by mountains, rivers and woods.

Hide soaked in the 3 artemisia plants grown in the garden and stretched on an Ash hoop. Comes with its own be**er stuffed with local raw sheep wool and medicine pouch containing apple pips for the Horse spirit, dried Mugwort, and clear quartz crystals (and plenty of room to add your own magic!)

Tied with my maker's strip dyed with oak leaves and galls.

My first craft fair with the drums and rattles!! 💫

Thanks to everyone who came to look at the stall and to say hello! I was a bit nervous to start with, but I had a little message keep coming to me... a whisper of, 'trust'. Freya took the photo of me, with the tree through the window just before we opened. The light seemed like a sign putting myself out here was a positive move.

And it was. We had an amazing response. Some highlights of the day:

+ sold out of my homegrown smudge sticks (I'll be making more for the Talgarth craft fair this Saturday).

+ Medicine rattle found their home. Out of the nine rattles I birthed for Autumn, four have now found their people.

+ had a few enquiries about my 1:1 drum making workshops for Christmas presents for themselves and loved-ones

+ cleansed 8 people's aura with my Super Saining Blend

+ social media seems to be working! Hoorah!!

Thank you to all the other stall holders who welcomed me and made me feel at home. Thanks to The Globe at Hay for making the opportunity available. What a beautiful venue it is!

For everyone who missed us or would like to see me and the drums, I'll be at Talgarth Town Hall for the Grow for Talgarth craft fair this coming Saturday.

Horse Guardian Drum: Neptune

14" Horse hide on Ash frame. Beautiful markings remind me of shooting stars!

Hide soaked in Artemesias to bring in the feminine energies of the Moon and Oak to bring in the masculine for a beautifully balanced drum.

Honey coloured suede be**er head, stuffed with Welsh black sheep fleece, trimmed with repurposed rabbit and a cockerel feather.

Medicine pouch includes apple pips for the spirit of Horse, clear quartz crystals, and Artemisia flowers and space to add your own meaningful items.

Horse Guardian Drum: Mercury

Mercury is made from horse hide on a 14" Rosewood frame. The drum has been birthed as part of a triplet series on the Grand Water Trine.

- the hide was soaked in a sacred bath of Oak leaves, the 3 types of Artemesia and lilac Michaelmas daisies from the garden.

- The linen ribbon that wraps the central hoop was dyed in oak leaves, acorns and galls from the garden. The maker's mark is my left thumb print along with the symbol given to me during my meditations.

-the be**er is made from honey coloured suede to match the beautiful stripe on the drum face; stuffed with local Welsh black sheep fleece; decorated with repurposed rabbit fur and a wild goose feather. I believe the stick is Ash.

- the medicine bag contains apple pips from our apples for the horse spirit, clear quartz crystal chips, Mugwort flowers, and space to add your own sacred crystals and herbs.

The drum, be**er and medicine bag were all made by me in partnership with the spirits of the Black Mountains with materials either found during my walks, grown in my garden, or sourced sustainably. The animals were not killed for their fur or skin and are by products.

As a vegetarian, I am clear that I am using animal hides sourced ethically, and my goal is to honour the animal by making sacred tools to be used for healing purposes and connection to nature.

Introducing The Guardians

3 Horse hide drums birthed on the New Moon in Scorpio with a Grand Water Trine plantary alignment. This alignment is associated with a time of deep emotional processing, intuitive insights, and potent personal transformation. I've named each of the drums after the planets in the formation.

Mercury
Neptune
Jupiter

I was called to Horse to create these deeply potent healing drums. Horse spirt with this New Moon is aligned for you to:

- harness your emotional power to take bold action
- identify and release old patterns that are holding you back
- journey with Horse power in your inner and outer worlds

Compost experiment update!

Isabel and I have been working hard on our experiement. We repurposed some old wooden cupboards to create 2 new composting bays as the old pile on the ground was difficult to work with. I also found an old wooden cold frame, missing a lid, to mature the finished compost in. 🪱

Over the years, the house renovations have provided us with lots of pieces of wood and old carpet to keep the bays covered and the heat in while the miracle microbes do their work!

Yesterday, we started to measure the results and will do so every week, too, but we're finding using our special Lactizer is working a treat, breaking down material faster. And it smells delicious!

Lactizer? you ask... all will be revealed!

The last pic is of my mini harvest of ashwaghanda. The tops had been frost damaged beyond recovery over the past few days, so I had to get them out of the ground. Look how glorious the roots are in the winter sun.

These beauts will be dried and made into the Roots Spray I make for family and friends.

All in all. A good, productive day.

Garden touched by gliterry frost. Such a beautiful, refreshing morning!

I'm out tending to our compost experiment today, pruning back some of the perennial stalks (leaving some for the insects) adding them to the brash hedge and then preparing the herb beds for Winter, ensuring the soil is covered so roots can be cosy 🌬⚡️❄️💧

Introducing Medicine rattle - basking in the November sun. They have a special circle marking on each side like the full moon.

Deer hide soaked in a bath of Artemisia herbs, apricot waxed cotton stitching; oak, suede wrapped handle; wild goose feathers and clay bead with shell and adventurine detachable charm. For healing vibes ✨️
