Community. Connection. Nature. Holistic wellbeing in the beautiful Brecon Beacons. Nature circles, wellbeing walks, forest bathing & ecotherapy.
Antenatal education, hypnobirthing, pregnancy yoga. Postnatal: Tree Babies, baby massage, kids yoga. A hub for all things pregnancy, birthing, baby, postnatal, parenthood and beyond. Women supporting women, and supporting partners and families in and around the Brecon Beacons. I specialise in Hypnobirthing & Active Birth & am passionate about supporting, informing & empowering women to have calm & confident pregnancies, births & postnatal journeys. I support mums & birth partners in preparing for birth & the postnatal period holistically & wholly, together as a team with practical, effective techniques & evidence-based information so that they can make the best choices for their births & be prepared for whatever happens. I support all births, all choices & believe that everyone should have access to comprehensive birth preparation. Pregnancy yoga will be a continuation of this, coming soon!
I also teach baby massage, baby yoga & fourth trimester wellbeing classes supporting mums in the first critical 1001 days after birth, & am a trained breastfeeding peer supporter & birth buddy. I am excited to be adding toddler & kids yoga in 2023 to my offerings to continue the support & continuity of care & to share the benefits of my beloved yoga, mindfulness moments & movement practice with children from 2-8 years old in age appropriate classes.

Change is coming…Sunflower is evolving and will slowly take a new form and shape over time. Am trusting the process to feel when the time is right to come back. Some things will remain, others will not, and new things will emerge. It felt right to change the name and embrace the shift in tides and focus. The new name is in honour of my beautiful husband. Coming in 2026…Elms Wellbeing.

September is a season of change, of release, of welcoming in rest, of slowing down & grounding with nature.
I’m feeling this pull more than ever after a brutal, though at times also oddly beautiful, Summer. A Summer that cruelly took the love of my life & father to my 2 beautiful children away, & forced us all to sit among the wreckage.
It’s only now after the shock & savage finality have begun to really sink in that I can begin to pick apart the pieces of what was, what is & what may be.
Grief is sneaky, it is constant, it interrupts everything & it doesn’t care what you have to do, or what you want to do. It doesn’t wait to be felt & heard. It demands attention & it takes up so much space. It’s the heaviest thing I have ever carried, & I can’t put it down.
I’ve also come to realise I don’t want to put grief down, because it is also connection & it is love that doesn’t know where to go. It is a reminder of my beloved husband & how much he matters to us & is a token of everything we shared together, so grief is here to stay. Apparently time & space will one day allow life to grow around it.
I’m taking my cue from nature now I finally have some time & space to think & feel since the kids are back in school. I am resting. I am pausing any growth, I am trying to release what I can & I am letting the rain (& tears) wash over me.
I will be back when the time is right.
I think the New Year feels like something to aim for. I may want to do a Samhain or Christmas/Yule pop-up if it feels good, so keep checking in.
Until then, thank you for all of your support, love, connection & kind words. Please keep them coming because they have lit up many dark moments & I still believe in the glimmers & this beautiful community.
Perhaps I’ll share a little of this journey; of what helps the healing; of the leading part nature has, & always will play in my life & wellbeing; perhaps Sunflower will evolve along the way, perhaps new life will grow around what we’ve built here.
For now, I’ll be taking this day by day, perhaps moment by moment.
See you in a little while. 🌻

Thank you for all of your beautiful messages of love and strength since June. My husband tragically passed away on 18th June, a day I will never forget and that changed us forever. The world will never look and feel the same without him here with us.
I am taking the rest of the Summer to focus on our children and my grief, so all classes have been cancelled for Summer and early September.
I’m not sure when I will have the capacity to return to teaching regular classes again, so a greatly reduced schedule is currently up from the autumn, but this is subject to change as I navigate the hardest and saddest time of my life.
One day, sometimes one moment at a time is how we are coping with the brutality and shock of losing our beloved, beautiful Jon; my soulmate of 27 years, husband, rock, anchor, and loving father to our 2 children who are lost without him by their side. As am I.
My heart goes out to anyone else who is grieving and has loved and lost one so dear. Lean on those around you if that feels right, take it as slow as you can go each day, and allow your grief to flow however it needs to. That’s all I know how to do for now.
I know you will all understand, and the support and kindness of our little village and community here is so appreciated. I will return when the time is right, I hope.
Keep telling those you love how much they mean to you, and hold those who make your heart and soul sing close always.
Keep those pebbles of love and support coming and keep sharing the glimmers. I’m still trying to spot them when I can.
Thank you. 🙏

Pressing Pause.
It is with a heavy heart that I am pausing all evening classes and courses at the moment as my family navigates my husband’s end of life care. He has been bravely fighting cancer for the past year and 8 months but unfortunately his body has let him down and it’s time to focus in on the time we all have left together.
I appreciate all of your kind words and support at this incredibly difficult and devastating time.
Hypnobirthing cancellation emails have been sent out so please check your inboxes.
Kids Yoga after school club and holiday pop-ups and Tree Babies sessions are still scheduled to run currently, but please check emails and messages closer to these events as I may have to cancel at short notice.
Thank you for your understanding and compassion. I very much plan to be back when the time is right as this little business is my heart and soul and I will miss you all so much whilst I press pause.
See you soon. And hold those you love close tonight and always. 🌻

Another step in the beautiful journey of Reiki healing. This has been such a gorgeous way to prioritise my own self care, come back to my practice of meditation, to slow down and to tune in. It’s about energy release and flow, focusing on good thoughts and energy, releasing tension and stress in the mind and body, balance and harmony and nurturing self-healing, and spiritual growth. It’s exactly what I need right now and what I want to share with my family. So happy to have passed my Reiki 2. Thank you to Nina for your beautiful guidance and light. 🙏
