Yoga is an all inclusive discipline that has been present in every ancient culture that has been kept alive through the more recent centuries in India. In order to achieve these states of higher consciousness, they found that they had to work through the body and the breath, and in doing so, through this process, they found yoga to have great health benefits which has come more to the fore through the research of in recent times. Yoga has the capacity through posture work and breathing techniques
to bring the mind to a tension-less state while still conscious. Which is the greatest form of relaxation, as this, in turn, rejuvenates, revitalizes and replenishes the body in a systematic way. Yoga strengthens and keeps flexibility In the cardiovascular and muscular systems and aids in the relief of aches and pains, stress, anxiety and depression. It also improves self confidence, concentration and creativity .

So often, we move through life without truly listening to our own bodies. The body carries us through each day, adapting, compensating and doing its best with little attention, care or respect from us.
We may believe listening to our body is simple, but in truth, it’s a subtle skill - and even when we do hear its whispers, how often do we actually pause to respond?
This workshop is an invitation to slow down and spend time with your body and breath in a way that is mindful and compassionate.
Through guided practices, you’ll learn to listen more deeply, to feel and to connect with the inner wisdom that resides within.
Instead of moving on impulse or expectation, you’ll begin to explore how the body itself can guide your practice. With these tools, you can develop a more personal, sustainable and restorative
approach to yoga - one that supports you not only on the mat, but in your daily life.

Listening to ones body is a good place to start to begin listening to Earth, also as a Sentient Being. Re - sensitizing the inner system so that one can feel that inner earth 'sentient being' vibration, within ones self.I have a workshop on the 19th of this Month. This is what we were working towards today in my yoga class through listening to the body in not blindly forcing but gently easing in assessing through the parts of the body.There are many parts that are weak and these need to be exposed. How does one know when this happens, discomfort soreness, and even pain, which then these weak parts needs to be nurtured back to strength with intelligent use.Our ego's do not possess this intelligence that is required to really restore heal and release. Our ego only wants to exert its force, it knows nothing about taking care in easing in remaining for as long then easing out. Our ego's do not have the capacity to listen to our bodies. It is always to the expectation wants and the needs of the person, even if ones body ends up on the scrap heap. The ego basically does not care about this. Why, cos it doesnt know how to.Wall support allows for a deeper investigation with way less fear or gripping in having to maintain free balance, that will come later.

It's about slowing down, listening to your body and moving into asana's (posture's) with awareness.

Every pause is part of your practice.
