The Orchard House team have an incredible nine finalists across a range of categories and recently celebrated a total of 10 finalist nominations at both the Great British Care Awards and the NAPA National Activity Awards.

Brentwood Care Centre was proud to take part in the Winter Wellness Day organised by Brentwood Borough Council — a fantastic community event promoting health, warmth, and wellbeing during the colder months.

Our Executive Chef Oliver Clothier prepared and shared a selection of nutritious dishes, including half-and-half Quorn and mince spaghetti bolognaise and a hearty butter bean, bacon, and tomato stew. Visitors also enjoyed a free lunch of butternut squash and parsnip soup with warm bread rolls.

Alongside the food, Oliver shared practical nutrition tips for the winter months — from cooking for one to batch cooking — while Rhiannon McNeill, Customer Relations Manager, engaged with visitors and supported the event.
