Following the Scottish Government's announcement earlier today we can now book all eye examinations. Please call the practice on 01505 614700 for an appointment. We look forward to seeing you all again.

Opticians in Scotland have been issued with new guidance for Phase 2 which starts on June 29th. The main difference from Phase 1 is that we will be allowed to make appointments to see patients if the problem cannot be solved remotely (ie phone/photo/video consultation) and if the problem is considered as essential or emergency eyecare. Also, practice doors are to remain closed, with entry to the practice allowed only by phone appointment. Unfortunately, routine appointments are still not permitted at this time.

Therefore, as with Phase 1, our doors will remain closed (except for scheduled appointments) and our phone lines will remain open Mon-Sat 9-5 so if you have any questions or have any problems with your eyes, glasses or contact lenses, please call us. Stay safe and well, Kerry.

With the newest government advice, our doors will be closed as of today. However, we can still be contacted by phone (temporary new number is 07561648812) for any questions. I will be available on call to make appointments for anyone with symptoms that require essential or urgent eye care (this will be decided during the phone call). Stay safe and hopefully we can all get back to normal as soon as possible! Kerry (optometrist).

We are still open. However, please think carefully as to the necessity of any appointments before booking.

Call for advice if you're unsure.

Routine appointments will still be booked but we advise to wait if possible. Anything potentially serious should still be checked without delay.

Routine home visits are suspended but patients with more urgent symptoms will still be seen.

Hopefully things will return to normal in as short a time as possible.
