From April 1st 💙
As someone who’s been brought up in the funeral business all my life here in Bridgend, I’ve seen first-hand how grief affects people in so many different ways.
Sometimes you just want somewhere to put your thoughts, even if you don’t know what to say.
So we’ll put a post box in place outside our office on the 1st of April — a “Post Box to Heaven.”
It’s there for everyone who’s lost someone and wants to post a letter to them. It might help children, but it’s just as much there for adults too.
It will be outside our office and available to use day or night.
Whether it’s for a few words, a memory, a birthday, an anniversary, or just to talk to them, sometimes writing things down can bring a bit of comfort.
If you could give this a share so it reaches people around Bridgend who might need it, I’d really appreciate it. We’ll also be letting local schools know it’s there for any children who may be struggling.
If it helps even one person, it’s worth it 💙
