✨ Where has this year gone?! ✨

I've been reminiscing recently. This time last year was my gorgeous sister's wedding day. What a day it was. I love looking back over the years in pictures but it doesn't half go quickly! It only seems like yesterday I was visitng clients who had started to add some autumnal decor to their rooms to really get cosy. I love seeing how everyone really leans into each season.

✨ Birthday pamper✨

This weekend I was invited to the most gorgeous National Trust barn conversion near Bridgnorth for a very special birthday celebration.

✨ Is this redness normal?! ✨

Have you noticed redness post massage before? This can come up anywhere on the body however it is most common in the upper back area. This is because most people hold most of their tension here. So why does it happen? Deeper tissue massage techniques can create Erythema (skin redness) because...
✨ The pressure and manipulation of the massage increases blood flow to the treated area.
✨ Your blood vessels dilate to allow for the increased blood flow.
✨ This means your muscles are delivered more oxygenated blood and nutrients for repair.
✨ This in turn means that toxins and waste product will be carried away from these areas too.

So if you're ever thinking redness post massage seems a bit strange, trust the process. It's a normal and healthy sign your body is healing naturally with a little help from your massage 🧡
