Thank you for everything today. I was very moved.

Additionally, I know how much it has cost us individually, as well as the economic impact on the Self-Employed.

I relived some horrendous memories as I listened.

Through it all, though, I felt some justice peeking through the chaos of , , and .

Again, thank you.

It's our turn tomorrow at the .

3Million owners excluded
threatened us with jail
Excluded us from all government support packages
We paid our taxes
We lost our homes
We lost our income
The insanity of Sunak's decision-making made it harder than it needed to be.
And the worst part.....
40+ took their lives, and families have suffered and still do.

I lobbied with the team in 2020 and 2021 after my world and business went bang in Sussex and I had to relocate.

I lost all Authority over my own life.

Dad did say to me at the time
'Wendy, it's like a war office, you won't like it. Keep out of the way'

I tried, by those in authority created chaos while masking what they deemed control.

I lost 15k in bookings, and my small business, due to their own terrible bad behaviour.

These are two of the paper articles I did for and .

Hello Virtuals,

Hopefully, the IT of this post is going to work. The problem-solving project manager in me has hopefully solved it with what I have, as I don't have the backing of and an platform anymore. Tee hee.....

This page and my socials are the random adventures of life and the career of Wendy, who went from a council estate and the paper round to years in Finance and achieving a global business class career, to the bumpy road to my second careerβ€”the dream for my love of words and natural history.

Those who know me know I am random, and you are never quite sure where my adventures will lead, but there is always a method in my madness, and hopefully some laughs along the way.

Part of that dream was to see if my adventures and words are of interest and could be listened to on the radio.

After joining a Group, that dream came true last Sunday.

I adore the radio, if I listen to it before I go to bed or the countless memories I have of dancing in the kitchen to Boney M, Cliff, The Carpenters or with Mum.

Or, Dad and his laughing at , or his Jazz turned up that even the deaf can hear. Or driving around the countryside lanes with my mates singing terribly to our hearts' content.

The radio and its waves shaped my youth and is a fantastic invention in my humble opinion.

Sharing my words about Sussex and the soulful meaning of with new friends in Somerset was one of those moments.

Yes, I am very nervous, as you can hear.
My fears go up with breathlessness and shaking, but once I get through that, and my bravery continues, I have been told it is very enjoyable.

If you have the time, or even want to, please, virtual friends, take a listen, and if you want more, then like and subscribe on one of my socials.

Big Ed and his Goodbye Adventures.... πŸ––πŸ™πŸŒˆπŸ‘‹

I had to say goodbye to my boy yesterday.
He was the perfect gentleman and had me running rings around him. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

I rescued Ed the week after my father passed in June 2021. He was the perfect antidote to aid grief and pay it forward. He was named after my father's middle name and my grandfather's first. Edward Turner. Or Big Ed to his harem of women who adored him.

Rescuing animals is a must in my opinion. They all deserve a sofa and peace, and Big Ed had that for the last years of his life at Wendy's House.

He loved a roll, a sofa and getting my attention in all the inappropriate ways he could. Totally love bombed. ❀️

Yesterday, though, Sunshine (cat) came down and sat next to Ed, which he very rarely does. It was if to say,'see ya on the flip side' It was like Sunshine told us all with his presence saying 'It's today, It is the time'

Animals are such beautiful caregivers I find.

Keep Skipping Big Ed, enjoy your time on your next adventures.

It all went to plan. What a fantastic experience.

It all went to plan.

What a fantastic experience.

If all goes to plan, one of my career dreams may come true today.

The Adventures of Wendy on the local radio from 3pm.
https://10radio.org/

It's not BBC Radio 4 2pm Stories that I used to listen to in 1997, driving around the countryside delivering oil for Lance Morgan and Zenith Oil.

I would listen to the stories lost in the imagination of their words as I was trying to find my career choices as a 20-something woman.

What I did know is that I always, always knew I wanted my words on the radio.

It was just a question of when and the courage.

Today could be that day from 3pm. Listen if you can.

I think Mum and Dad would be very proud of me, especially as it is the childhood they gave me.
