We are a social enterprise and we are launching a new and exciting service to the community of Bridgwater and surrounding areas of Sedgemoor.
Social enterprises reinvest the money they make back into their business or the local community. This allows them to tackle social problems, improve peopleโs life chances, support communities and help the environment. So when a social enterprise profits society profits.
As we are a non-profit organisation, any profits we make from our services which are then reinvested providing more services and not given to shareholders.
Our purpose for the community is to provide recovery based services for people of all ages and sexes, who suffer from mental health problems. Older people who suffer from isolation and loneliness which can become a complex and serious condition. Also younger people, who have been rejected, require guidance and opportunities to gain qualifications which have not been possible for them to gain through the normal educational services.
RR2R offer participants a full tried and tested structure throughout the day. The day is divided into six modules with each helping the participants find their own path of recovery and helping them to live a satisfying, fulfilling and contributing life.
So, What do we do?
We will be working with the iconic British classics from motor cycles, tractors and cars. The aim is to take a classic vehicle often viewed by many as scrap or beyond repair. We believe that by restoring it to its former glory and working with the participants there is always hope. This encourages individuals to take pride in themselves and their achievements. By becoming part of a group and working together, it provides a sense of belonging and can initiate the beginning of their personal road to recovery.
