Hey everyone!
I have added an extra feature when booking and new policies within the business.
When booking you will now be prompted to add your card details, this is because the business has lost so much because of no shows. You will be charged 100% of the service fee now, sorry.
Please also note, you won’t be charged on the app for your haircuts unless you no show. I charge you on the card machine in the shop manually for your haircuts. If you do not pay the no show fee cuz you put in an old card etc, I reserve the right to block you as a client.
If you’re 15 mins late and I have bookings after I will sadly have to charge you and I won’t be able cut your hair unless it’s a buzz cut, this is due to inconveniencing every client after you and my life outside of the shop. You will also be charged 100% of the service cost.
Lastly, the one I dislike the most but has caused me to lose a lot of income is not charging for kids who won’t let me cut their hair.
I have many clients on the spectrum or disabled and usually it’s not those children who do this. I am THE most patient barber you’ll ever meet and will get through the most difficult hair cuts you’ve seen (just ask my other clients).
However, I now have multiple regular clients who have refused hair cuts totalling to more than 3 hours who haven’t been charged a penny due to me not being able to cut their hair. I will now have to charge 100% for the slot you booked as it stops other paying clients from having that slot or I turn away a walk in.
This isn’t all doom and gloom, it’s making sure the business stays in business and to have clear guidelines for us all. Everything has been going great, I can’t wait to get back behind the chair tomorrow giving you the trim you need and deserve.
