🌷 Easter Celebrations at Rastrick Hall and Grange Care Home 🌷

🎉 Easter Extravaganza
On Thursday, we welcomed families and children for a wonderful Easter extravaganza. The children created their own Easter bonnets before taking part in a fabulous bonnet parade, judged by our residents. The day also included an egg and spoon race, an easter egg hunt, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny! 🐰

👒 Easter Bonnet Parade
In the lead-up to Easter, residents enjoyed decorating their own bonnets for our Easter bonnet parade. Everyone had a great time taking part and showing off their creativity! Audrey was crowned our winner and received a fantastic hamper full of goodies. Congratulations, Audrey!🎁

🍫 Chocolate Bird Nest Making
Residents also enjoyed making delicious chocolate bird nests using both white and milk chocolate, topped with mini eggs, caramel, mint flavours, jelly worms, and mini marshmallows. 😋

🐰 Easter Bunny Visit
On Easter Sunday, the Easter Bunny made a special appearance to visit residents and hand out Easter eggs, which were very well received by everyone. 🍫

🌟 Lots of Fun at Maple Court Care Home 🌟

🍰 Cake Sale
A huge thank you to Wendy who baked lots of delicious treats, from shortbread and muffin boxes to lemon drizzle and brownies. Thanks to everyone’s support, we raised an amazing £270 for the residents fund! Jenny did a fantastic job welcoming visitors through the door, alongside our deputy manager Lana who helped drum up plenty of customers!

🌼 Flower Arranging
With some beautiful donated flowers, several of our ladies enjoyed a relaxing afternoon creating posies for the dining tables and lounge. With a glass of wine in hand and lots of chatting and laughter, it was a lovely afternoon. We especially love daffodils as they brighten up the whole home! 🌷

🏐 Ball Games for All
Our armchair ball games continue to be a big hit! Residents always enjoy getting involved, having fun, and sharing lots of laughter.

🌼 Out and About with Foresters Lodge Care Home 🌼

Ivy’s Day Out ☀️
Ivy enjoyed a fantastic day out, starting with a quick trip to the dentist before heading into town for some well-deserved fun. We enjoyed a delicious lunch together, followed by a bit of shopping. Ivy treated herself to some new trousers, a cosy dressing gown, and some colourful gel pens! With the sun shining brightly, it made the day even more special, and Ivy had such a wonderful time. 🛍️✨

A Visit to Priory View 🎭
We had a brilliant outing to support our lovely Alison, who recently took part in a show at the Priory View Centre, so a few of us went along to cheer her on! We all thoroughly enjoyed it, and afterwards shared a lovely coffee and a good natter together, which made the day even more special. ☕💬

🐣🍪 Easter Preparations at Cantley Grange! 🍪🐣

We’ve been getting into the Easter spirit here at Cantley Grange Care Home with a fun biscuit decorating session! Our residents enjoyed decorating their own Easter biscuits with plenty of colourful icing, and the best part was getting to taste them afterwards! 🍪✨

The biscuits were absolutely delicious, and the decorations turned out beautifully! A lovely activity enjoyed by all as we count down to Easter! 🌸🐰

🌼🐣 A Lovely Easter Surprise at Foresters Lodge Care Home 🐣🌼

We were delighted to welcome Victoria and Anthony from Ernest Brigham and F. Kneeshaw & Sons Funeral Directors, who kindly surprised our staff and residents with a wonderful Easter hamper, filled with chocolate, sweets, and some fluffy teddy bears. 🧸🍫🍬

This lovely hamper will be going into our Easter raffle, which will be drawn at our Easter party on 4th April here at Foresters Lodge. 🐰🎉

🌸🐣 A Joyful Couple of Weeks at Figham House Care Home! 🐣🌸

We’ve certainly been keeping busy here at Figham House!

As part of Nutrition Week, alongside all our usual treats, our fantastic kitchen team prepared a lovely afternoon tea. Extra care was taken to ensure everyone could join in, including a beautifully prepared puréed afternoon tea! 🍰☕

We were also delighted to welcome back singer Keith, who brought a fantastic afternoon of music, singing, and dancing. It truly lifted everyone’s spirits, we love music here at Figham! 🎶💃

Our residents have also been getting creative with some lovely Easter crafting, getting into the seasonal spirit ahead of the celebrations. 🐰🎨

We also celebrated a very special birthday for Keith! Staff and residents came together to sing a big “Happy Birthday,” followed by plenty of cake! 🎂

Our Easter Fair is taking place on Thursday 2nd April at 2pm. We’ll be drawing our Easter raffle and enjoying entertainment from singer George England. Everyone is very welcome, we’d love to see you there! 💐

🧀🍷 Wine & Cheese Afternoon at Cranswick Lodge 🍷🧀

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon of sampling a selection of cheeses, crackers, grapes, and wine. The cheese and wine went down an absolute treat, so much so, this is now going to be a regular monthly activity! 🎉

🎶💃 A Musical Treat at Figham House Care Home! 💃🎶

One of our wonderful housekeepers, Becky, kindly volunteered her own time to come in and sing for our residents! Becky treated us to a mix of classics alongside some modern popular songs. There was something for everyone to enjoy, and before long, many of our residents were up dancing, clapping along, and joining in the fun. 🎤🎵

It was lovely to see residents encouraging one another to get involved and share a dance together. An uplifting session enjoyed by all!
