🐾 We were delighted to welcome another visit from our esteemed PAT dog companion, Dexter. His presence brought immense joy to our residents, who thoroughly enjoy these heartwarming encounters.
Naturally, Dexter was showered with affection—and a few well-deserved treats—which he graciously accepted before departing with a wagging tail and a very happy heart.

Today, we gathered in quiet reflection to honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served in times of war and conflict. At St James Park Care Home, residents, staff, and visitors came together to mark Remembrance Day with heartfelt tributes and shared memories.

Residents wore their poppies with pride, some sharing personal stories of loved ones who served, others recalling their own experiences with dignity and grace.

A special display of wartime memorabilia sparked conversations and reflections, while music from the era played softly in the background, evoking memories.

A Wonderful Day at Haynes Motor Museum 🚗☀️

Our residents had a truly delightful day out visiting the Haynes Motor Museum. The sun was shining, spirits were high, and everyone enjoyed a beautifully prepared packed lunch, lovingly made by our talented chef.

No outing would be complete without a comforting cup of coffee and a selection of delicious cakes, which were thoroughly enjoyed by both residents and staff alike.

The museum staff gave an engaging and informative presentation on the fascinating history of the cars, making the experience even more memorable. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the day so special!
