Just a friendly Friday reminder……..it is okay to cry 💧

Crying is a normal human reaction to situations and it is okay to cry. It helps us let go of bottled up emotions and process them. Crying is actually away of relieving pain as it releases feel good hormones into our body. Crying activates the parasympathetic nervous system in our body helping to calm the body down. By acknowledging our emotions and processing them it can help us get a better night’s sleep in turn, helping us feel better physically and emotionally. And lastly, crying allows others to see you need some support and people are then there to help you. You are not alone.

Help us spread the word that is it okay to cry. It is okay to feel any emotion. Let’s choose to normalise, validate and support anyone who is crying and expressing their emotions by being there for them.
