This Saturday, Mimi (she/her) will be offering up her embodied movement as part of our community class.
Mimi first discovered yoga as a way to switch off from the complexities and busyness of everyday life. After graduating from a 200-hour embodiment-focused training, her practice has evolved into one that invites movement that feels good in the body, rather than making perfect shapes.
She aims to create a warm and welcoming environment - a safe space in which people can arrive as they are, slow down and let go. She encourages students to be inquisitive, find fluidity in movement and be led by what feels good for them.
You can expect a mix of slow and strong movement, with opportunities for both rest and heat. She hopes to hold a space in which students can enjoy movement and leave feeling lighter.
