It's OK to give yourself permission to sit still. Even if your mind is busy, it will eventually meet you in the moment. Even if your to do list is endless, it isnt going anywhere it will still be there to tick off once you've refilled.

Give your life the best of you rather than whats left of you.

Watch the clouds as they pass by. The sun set and the light change whereever you are. The moon as it appears. Feel present in the moment.

Change up today. Check in with you.

As I saw this sea of pink on the path this morning I'm reminded of impermenance, nothing is forever. No feeling, no moment, no sensation.

I'm ready to begin sharing.

LIFE IS A WILD YET MAGICAL RIDE

I find myself striving, pushing, controlling in this strange survival mode. Then I'm confused as to why I'm stuck. Maybe it's because I'm trying to do something I'm not ready to step in to, that's not right, that isn't truly meant for me, or maybe it's just simple fear that I'm now ready to walk through.

Meditation Ruins Your Commitment To Stress ⬅️⬅️swipe to end⬅️⬅️

Already have your phone in hand before getting out of bed, crash straight in to 'doing' at the top of your day, have a squillion things to do, people to see to, love life in the fast lane, can't get through a day without pushing it to the edge, basically thrive on stress?

Then forget about meditation, all that hard work and commitment you've put in to stressing will be wasted, meditation has the complete opposite effect.

What lights you up?

Do you find this question easy to answer? Does it feel like a loaded question? Did you hear a voice say, I don't know.

As humans we tend to explore when we experience negative emotions or experiences. We hang on to them, hold them close and allow it to feed our movements.

A new moon is upon us, whether that's a thing for you or not, I invite you to release the if, buts, maybes and whens and step in to your light. Be mindful, sit with what is and choose to write down 3 things that light you up and keep that close instead.

Surely life is a precious gift, to be lived, loved, explored and experienced. Put that out there and it returns in abundance.

The stars shine brightest in the darkness of the new moon sky. We shine the brightest when we allow ourselves to live this way.

Meditation isn't about emptying your mind of thoughts

The 'goal' isn't to become quiet and empty.

It's falling awake
Noticing the thoughts
Our bodies are beyond intelligent (so much so, I'm in constant awe of what mine does)
BUT it doesn't know the difference between an actual situation and a thought.

We have around 70-80 thousand thoughts a day.

How many of your thoughts are you aware of?

What feelings and emotions are you creating that you could notice as stories before your body recognises as 'danger or harm'.

Give youself 10 minutes to sit, close your eyes and ask yourself, 'How am I?'
