Our Story
Maria’s Home Care Companions is a small and friendly companion and care service based in Rottingdean
Our Carers and Companions consist of a varied group of individuals from the care industry ranging from Carers who have qualifications in “NVQ’ Direct Care and Living” to Ex-nurses and retired care home professionals, and even those from the voluntary sector.
This provides us with a uniquely formed team who both work together and support one another very well. We believe in building a supportive community linking with other care organisations and networks.
We understand the importance of working with you closely to tailor our service to your own personal needs, or those of your loved ones. We believe in operating with the utmost integrity, supporting independence, respecting dignity and earning your, or your loved one’s trust by remaining honest and trustworthy at all times.
We are genuinely here to help, and care very much about providing a good service.
Our aim is to offer you the best care and companionship available, whilst ensuring your independence remains valued. All our self-employed staff are rigorously vetted, thus offering you and your loved ones full peace of mind.
We also run 'The Deans Senior Tea Club' every Friday at St Nicholas Church Hall, Saltdean Vale. This is a regular get together for our senior residents to join us in a game of scrabble, chess or just to chat, share stories and have a laugh! We invite our senior members to bring along their carers or family members if they wish, for Tea and cake!
