Reflex Athlete Darren Walker () has just pulled a 301kg Deadlift World Record - at 57 years old.
Masters 4, -100kg class, lifting at 97.8kg.
A result built on years of steady, disciplined work - the kind of consistency our community cares about as much as the number on the bar.
Across two major meets this season - the UKIPL British Championships and the GPC Combined Nations World Cup - Darren put up seven British Records, then closed it out with that world-record deadlift to cap a standout campaign.
Lifts on the day:
• Squat - 245kg
• Bench - 140kg
• Deadlift - 301kg (WR)
His prep was simple and reliable: Isolate Pro for daily protein, Creatine in the routine, EAAs through training and comp day, and The Bomb before big attempts. Nothing flashy - just tools that support the work.
Another huge achievement, Darren. At 57, proving what so many of us believe: strength doesn’t have an age limit when you keep showing up. Proud to back you.
