On the 28th September I'm celebrating 3 years of not smoking (after a 45 year love affair with my rollups). By coincidence NicA (Ni****ne Anonymous UK) are putting on a convention which I'll be attending. If you struggle with smoking and want to spend a day and evening with a lovely bunch of people who've either given up or have the desire to, please come along. It's in a wonderful venue near Bristol.

There is s*xual activity and then there is thinking about s*xual activity. They are not the same! You cannot 'know' anything, based on ideas you carry (of which all are invented using past responses to experiences and stories) about what you will 'like' or 'not like' in the erotic realm until you try it. Even then, you may not like it the first time or even the second but the third time might just be a revelation and flick you out of resistance and into enjoyment. Finally I'm BACP registered. I've joined Counselling Directory and Better Help. I'm looking at renting rooms in Brighton to work in. Everything is moving in the right direction. It's been a tough adjustment after nine years of living 'home-free', but it seems like I've found a place I can settle down for a while. Maybe forever... although forever is a long time :-)
