Davy had the pleasure recently of interviewing Mick Dawson who attends Janaki's classes at David Lloyd, Marina. Mick is an ex-Marine and internationally renowned ocean rower who skippered the first rowboat to travel 7000 miles from Japan to San Francisco - a feat that has not been repeated by anyone since. He is now involved in various charitable activities to help ex-Veterans including through yoga. You can listen to the interview here:

Recently we took a group of our students for a week of yoga at the Grande Hotel de San Michele in Calabria. With an amazing cliff top setting the hotel has a private beach accessed by lift and also a swimming pool.

We offered two classes a day and in between free time to explore swim or chill out by the pool … we also visited nearby cliff top towns of Cetraro and Diamante.

We love our yoga holidays and next year we will revisit La Roane in S W France and Dalyan in Turkey.

If you can’t make a holiday there are one or two spaces at our Brighton afternoon workshop on Saturday 25 of this month.
