Writing letters to your past self is a tool with so much healing potential.
Of course you can go much deeper when you aren’t posting it online.
But I found this trend so powerful for recognising how far I’ve come, how much I’ve grown and remembering everything I’ve learnt along the way.
2016 was a pretty amazing year but I wouldn’t change the journey I’ve taken from there to here.

Try a letter to 2016 you. What words did you need to hear at that time? What have you learnt that you would share with your younger self?
How can you celebrate your journey?
In what ways can you honour your growth?
Can you offer compassion and grace to that version of you?

I look to the trees for their wisdom while transitioning through the seasons of the year and the seasons of my life.

As we descend into winter, we turn to the roots.

How do you stay connected?
What nourishes you through your dark nights?
What brings you warmth when the world feels cold?
What values lie at your core when your branches are stripped bare?
What gives you the strength to persevere?
What motivates you to start again in spring?

Let the trees remind you and be a reflection of your strength.

Yoging around the world … I just started doing tree pose everywhere I travelled. Little did I know, that tree pose would bring me stability in the most turbulent times. Without realising I was manifesting that little note I’d written one new moon ‘I will be a yoga teacher’ 🙏🏽
