Not sure about you, but for me, it’s always been the little things that matter. A thought, an action, that can take 5 mins of your time but could mean the world to someone else.
So as it was Good Friday, I was thinking about sacrifice , but it doesn’t have to the biggest act of love and sacrifices that speak the loudest. They are often small, simple but deeply felt.
So who in your life today, could you make the smallest gesture too but could have the biggest impact?
It could just be a much needed cup of tea!

We give our guests fruit and biscuits at the spa, a bit of goodness and a bit of naughtiness for those that want to indulge.

Meanwhile whilst I’m meant to be working and somehow I find myself on my fourth Garibaldi biscuit… I am quite partial a Garibaldi.. But with my brain I can’t just eat the biscuit. I have to investigate the biscuit. So I’m sitting there thinking, Garibaldi… where does that even come from? Down a rabbit hole I go.

Turns out “geri/gari” means spear and “bald” means bold or brave. So it roughly translates to brave with a spear. Which means I am technically eating a bold warrior. Mmh.

The biscuit is named after Giuseppe Garibaldi, a 19th-century revolutionary who fought in jungles, escaped armies and helped unify Italy. His followers were called the Redshirts the currants were said to resemble his famous red uniform.
He was apparently a 19th-century rock star equivalent.
So I am actually eating political history while avoiding admin.

Feeling so grateful for our beautiful team who helped out at our the Xmas market, but late in posting but ..
💫 my little partner in crime, with her fabulous free mini massage tasters.
🌿 , one of our great Shiatsu practitioners, who collected the lovely holly for our decorations that morning.
✨ joining us in January with her Morning Flow Mum & Baby class, who arrived with extra candles and tinsel for the Christmas Tree competition. To be announced MONDAY!
💪 , who rocked a fabulous muscle suit while handing out flyers reminding everyone to look after their muscles
🕯️.home who makes our beautiful bespoke candles and brought even more goodies from her own online shop to sell. Pilates teacher
🎄, our yoga teacher, who came up the tree pose comp idea, and ignoring my I can do it on my own you can go home, and helping till the end, packing down! — utterly brilliant.
🤗 And .emma , my lovely friend, for the much-needed hug.

Totally blessed to have such beautiful souls around me — teamwork really does make the dream work.
