It’s been an incredibly intense year astrologically. It feels like we’ve lived 5 years in one, but with lots of heavy, stagnant energy interspersed.

Something (witchy intuition) tells me 2026 is going to be *quite* the year, with a very different energy. But let’s see what the cards have to say for you, boo. 🔮

Since the turnaround from “spiritual healer” to “fascism and convicted felon supporter” is strong out here, it feels like a good time to reflect on where many of our practices actually come from.

Mercury moving into Sagittarius has freed this witch’s tongue and got my sass feeling sprung. So, let’s talk about it. 💅🏾

1. I don’t believe healing is always self-care, love, and light. Looking after ourselves is important, yes, but deep roots of healing are founded in community and humanity. In my opinion, there will always be healing work to do while the world is so heavy. These things are intrinsically woven.

2. I will always stand and speak up for those who are oppressed. If speaking out against oppression, racism and injustice costs me sales, good. That’s a blessing, it’s a terrible energy exchange if that’s what it was conditional of.

Beneath the surface, I study the history of my practices and ancestral lineages endlessly. I work to source crystals more mindfully, give a percentage of profits to community organisations, and do more on a personal level. There’s will always be more to do and learn, but I’m committed to the work that goes far beyond card decks and cosy events.

There’s no magic wand, but awareness is always an important starting point. There’s often richness around the roots of these practices in our courses and initial study but curiosity and care shouldn’t stop when the modules do. Especially when the people of colour who birthed our practices are suffering.

Solidarity is a doing word. Whether it’s through speaking up, standing shoulder-to-shoulder, donating, or self-educating, the world needs more of it right now.

The roots of our healing run deep. May we never forget who planted them. 🌳 ❤️‍🩹

When I buy a spiritual service, an astrology or tarot reading from you, I see it like art.

I’m buying into your years of expertise, your unique style, your intuitive creativity, your magic.

What I’m not buying into is: ChatGPT’s generic musings based on large language models, made up of garbled and stolen data, which traumatises people living in poverty needing to moderate.

By all means, spell check or brainstorm with a little help from AI, but please, please hold onto your magic. Every time you feed a prompt into ChatGPT, you’re giving away your magic, your art, your intellectual property and your intuitive beauty.

And to be honest: everyone’s starting to sound the same.

I find that sad because I’ve always cherished how every reading and every spiritual practitioner brings something different to the table. That’s what I pay for; not perfection, but your perspective. 🔮

As a coach, I speak to amazing practitioners who are tussling that challenge of creating unique content that makes their beautiful offerings sing. It’s hard but it’s so worthwhile. In a world of the generic and regurgitated, authentic hand-crafted content stands out more than ever.

To all the healers, spiritual wonders and psychic artists out there still shuffling and conjuring your own magic, still carefully crafting your own content, I see you. I appreciate you. 🙏🏾

Who knows what’s to come but I hope it’s the revolution of authenticity and being boldly, distinctively yourself (flaws, quirks, typos, and all) comes back out on top. 🤎

We’re going through one hell of a major arcana Moon moment. 🌑

Collectively things feel uncertain, unclear, unsatisfying, out of control (literally). I’m seeing it in every reading and feeling it on a personal and energetic level.

The reality is: it feels a lot because it is.

Five planets in retrograde is no small “pop culture” feat and every day, we are waking up to some of the most horrific scenes of genocide in our lifetime, feeling helpless.

Helpless ≠ hopeless.

The Moon card reminds us that even through darkness, there are glimmers of moonlight. Light that encourages us to put one foot in front of the other and hold on to hope that brighter, lighter times are ahead.

Change isn’t just something we manifest. Change happens through perseverance, hope and action (even the small ones).

Care? It’s a doing word, not just a feeling one. For those of you showing up and caring every day, you’re doing amazingly.

I know it feels slow, and sometimes fruitless, but keep caring anyway.

In challenging, uncertain times especially, even the little acts of care (for yourself and others) can make a big difference. 🤎

Reminder: the magic isn’t in the cards, it’s in you. ✨

People read tarot in many different, wonderful ways but intuition has always been at the heart of it for me.

Sitting, listening in, and connecting with your energy, is always special. Truly.

Hearing what’s unsaid, tapping into soul whispers, and gently bringing to the surface perspective and pathways you might not see clearly or confidently yet. Helping you see yourself through a mirror that isn’t as blurred by conditioning and patterns of thinking. That’s the magic of tarot I love.

The eye-widening smile from those “aha” moments when it clicks.

The moment the dots connect and things make a little more sense, or feel clearer.

The deeper exhale as your reading wraps up.

Reading for all of you is one of my very favourite things to do.
