Following recent news reports of cases of Meningitis in the Kent area, we have received a number of queries regarding meningitis vaccines.

Children are given the Meningitis A C W Y strain vaccination in either years 9 and 10. If you/your child have missed this, are still attending secondary school or aged 15/16 years and home schooling, please call the School Immunisation Team on 03001245515.

Meningitis B Vaccination - Patients over 2 yrs olds need to pay privately for the meningitis vaccination. We do not give this to patients over 2 years at the surgery.

The MenB vaccine was added to the NHS immunisation schedule for infants in 2015, providing protection for babies and young children in the UK.

It's important for parents and carers to know how exploitation and grooming can occur, whether in public spaces, through friends or online, and how to spot the signs.

That’s why we’re running two free online information sessions for parents and carers, led by our Child Exploitation Prevention Officer, Andri Nicolaou.

When?

Wednesday 18 March 7.00-8.30 pm
Monday 30 March 10:30 am – 12.00 noon.

Hello,

Can we please remind everyone that our carpark is strictly for patients only, Please can we ensure at no time does anyone park on the DOUBLE RED Lines, parking on these lines restrict access to the car park for ambulances, this is very important so please take notice of this and the car park markings on the floor. An ambulance needs to be able to access and turn around in our car park at all times
