Men’s & Ladies Groups 🃏💅🏼

We kicked off our Friday morning with our gentlemen’s group! There were games of tin can alley and darts, alongside a few rounds of “What’s Wrong?” and card games to keep our minds stimulated. 🎯♠️

This afternoon brought a calmer pace with our lovely ladies’ group. With relaxing music playing in the background, it was time for a little pamper session. Our residents both chose the same nail colour and were absolutely over the moon with their beautiful manicures! 💅🏼🧘‍♀️

Today our incredible kitchen staff truly outdid themselves, baking the most beautiful almond-flavoured cupcakes topped with smooth buttercream icing and a cherry on top. 🍒🧁

We are so grateful for the care, creativity and love our kitchen team put into everything they make. It’s these thoughtful touches that make such a difference to daily life in our home. ❤️

🎸 Rock ‘n’ Roll Thursday Vibes! 🎶

The music was flowing in Primrose Lounge as Benny joined us with his guitar for a fantastic morning of rock ‘n’ roll favourites. Our residents were tapping their feet, swaying along and enjoying a good old sing-song to some much-loved classics.

There’s something so special about live music bringing everyone together — smiles all around and a wonderful buzz throughout the home. What a great way to brighten up our Thursday! ✨

We had some very special visitors today – our favourite 4 (and even 400!) legged friends 🐾💚

Melissa from Creature Cuddles brought along her wonderful animals for some lovely 1:1 visits with our residents. These sessions are always so beneficial, offering fantastic sensory experiences and meaningful moments of connection.

From learning about each animal to enjoying a gentle cuddle. Animal therapy truly does bring comfort, joy and lots of happy memories 🥰🐍🐇

We’ve had a lovely start to the day with a special pancake tasting session for our residents. From classic sugar and lemon to a drizzle of honey, everyone enjoyed choosing their favourite toppings and getting tucked in. 🍋🍯

To celebrate Chinese New Year on 17th February, our residents took their taste buds on a trip to China! 🇨🇳

We enjoyed a delicious selection of sweet and savoury treats including gyozas, dumplings, egg rolls, juicy lychees and, of course, fortune cookies 🥠✨

It was a wonderful educational and sensory experience — exploring new flavours, textures and traditions together. 🥟🥢

Our residents have been busy creating beautiful decorations ahead of Chinese New Year – from vibrant dragons boats and delicate lanterns to stunning cherry blossom trees. The creativity has certainly been flowing!

After all that hard work, we enjoyed a lovely latte and a good chat together. Because sometimes, the most special moments are the simplest ones – shared over a warm cup of coffee. 🤎

Kate brought the energy to Lavender Lounge this afternoon, and what a wonderful session it was!

Residents and staff loved every minute, enjoying uplifting tunes that had everyone singing along and joining in with the colourful ribbons. The bubbles floating through the lounge added an extra touch of magic and fun, creating a lovely sensory experience for all. ✨🫧
