Fairview Court had a farm… ee, ei, ee, ei, oo! 🐑🎶

What a baa-rilliant morning we had today! Melissa from Creature Cuddles paid us a visit and brought along a wonderful selection of animals for our residents to meet. From an adorable baby lamb (who completely stole everyone’s hearts) to a stick insect, fluffy baby chicks, a tortoise and a sweet little guinea pig, there were smiles all around.

Our residents loved getting up close with the animals and were full of fantastic questions throughout the session. It was a lovely, engaging morning in Rose Garden Lounge, filled with laughter, curiosity and plenty of cuddles.

A little bit of the farm came to Fairview Court today… and we absolutely loved it! 🐥💛🐑

With Easter just around the corner, our residents have been getting wonderfully creative with some arts and crafts! 🎨🐣

Using a variety of different materials and techniques, they’ve been busy making colourful Easter eggs, lovely handmade cards, and enjoying some relaxing colouring too. It’s been a fantastic way to add bright spring colours around the home and get everyone into the Easter spirit. 🌷

The creativity has been flowing, and the results are simply egg-cellent! 🐰✨

Our amazing catering team has outdone themselves once again by baking some delicious cupcakes for our residents to enjoy with their afternoon cuppa. 🧁☕

Pictured first are some delicately light carrot cakes, topped with a soft buttercream infused with a hint of mixed spice and garnished with grated carrot! 🥕🍰

Second pictured is a tropical pineapple sponge crowned with a zesty lime cream and dusted with coconut! 🍍🥥
It's safe to say both were a hit with our residents 😋👍

Sunshine, Songs, and Smiles with Kate and Keyboard 🎹

Thursday Tunesday was a total sensory delight in
Rose Garden! Kate brought her wonderful voice, keyboard, and a splash of color with her vibrant scarves, turning the lounge into a spring sensation. 🌷🌻

With the sun streaming through the windows, the room was buzzing with energy! From toe-tapping to heartfelt sing-alongs, it was a beautiful afternoon of music and joy. ✨🌞🎼

One to one with Siobhan 🎤

There’s nothing quite like a 1:1 with Siobhan! Her beautiful voice brings so much joy to our residents, and it’s always a lovely moment when their faces light up as she starts to sing.

One-to-one time is so important, as it gives residents the chance to enjoy meaningful and peaceful moments together. These quiet musical sessions spark memories, bring smiles, and create lovely moments of comfort and happiness throughout the day. ✨🎶

Monday Moves with Frankie Johns! 🎶

Our residents had a wonderful start to the week with a visit from Frankie this morning in Rose Garden Lounge, filling the room with music, smiles and plenty of toe-tapping.

This afternoon it was Blossom Lounge’s turn, and it was just as lively! Residents enjoyed singing along, clapping to the rhythm and sharing some lovely moments together.

Frankie’s wife even joined in the fun, having a little boogie with our residents, which brought lots of laughter and smiles all around. A lovely day of music and movement for everyone! 💛

Spring has sprung! 🌸

Our blossom tree is in full bloom and looks absolutely stunning. We've also spotted primroses, grape hyacinths, and bluebells, to name just a few of the beautiful springtime flowers growing in our lovely garden. 🌳🌼🌷

It Takes Two Thursday! 🕺🏼💃🏼

Oh what a toe-tapping, hand-clapping kind of afternoon we had! 🎶✨

Blossom Lounge was buzzing with laughter, singing, and plenty of dancing — with smiles all around. Our residents absolutely stole the show, getting involved and bringing so much joy to the room!

And with the sunshine pouring through the windows, it felt like spring is here. A massive thank you to It Takes Two ☀️💛
