On Saturday 15th November, BDP Creative Communities took part in Changing Tunes annual show at The Crypt, Woodlands Church.

We got to participate both as performers and audience members - witnessing the hopeful stories of people who had found music whilst navigating the challenges of the criminal justice system.

We celebrated the musical pathway we have developed in collaboration with Changing Tunes and Trinity Community Arts over the past 2 years - sharing songs we have been working on in our weekly community sessions!

You can catch Trinity Advanced Beginners at the Creative Communities Winter Shows.

Monday 1st December:
📍Location: Trinity
🕑Doors: 3PM - 4:15PM
🎟️Tickets: Free and available on Headfirst via the link in the Creative Communities bio.

Thursday 4th December:
📍Location: Unitarian Hall
🕑Doors: 3PM - 4:15PM

Star saxophonist Jess Gillam joined our Recovery Orchestra for a riveting session of music and connection.

🎶 Along with our partners at Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, our group was joined by Associate Musician Dr Jon James to develop musical phrases and unpack the deep relationship between a musician and their instrument.

🎶 We extend a huge thank you to Jess and Jon, and of course to Bristol Beacon and our partners at Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. This was an opportunity we won't forget!
