In my past life, I have been an Award Winning Chef and Cook Book Author, now you will find me focusing on my strength with regular weight training, cold showers, hula hooping, daily meditation, fermenting and reading. And piano is another of my passions. Why work with me? I was a chef in restaurants kitchens and ran my own successful Private Chef business for 10 years and during that time, I have overcome my own chronic health issues and left them in the past, through a cleaner diet and a healthier mindset. Fast forward to today and I’m now on the home straight of my training to be a Nutritional Therapist at CNM in Bristol. 👕 I literally have the t-shirt, having been here for at least a couple of years and dealing with a LOT during that time.

🙏🏻 That’s just the way life is at this time of life when we can be dealing with caring for ageing parents, losing parents, children leaving home, challenging careers. It can seem never ending.

🇯🇵 So, it’s time to look to Japan for inspiration, and I don’t just meaning eating more (good quality) soya…

RIP to my Dad who died on Friday morning. I am so sad and rudderless today. He was the archetypal English gent, always well dressed - he loved good clothes, music, architecture, art and beautiful things. In short, he was a brilliant man and a stalwart Dad. I am so lucky to have had him in my life for all these years. They just do not make them like that anymore, that’s a fact. I’m going to miss him very much indeed. 💙
