I know only too well and like many other women, we may experience, at some point, a feeling of disconnection, overwhelmed or a ‘Lack of Love’.
Whether it’s in our relationships or more deeply, within ourselves.

To love ourselves is not selfish.
It is an essential part of our health, wellbeing, and wholeness.

From this sacred place of self-love, our capacity to receive and share unconditional love becomes limitless.

As we grow older, learning to ‘Let Go’ of what we cannot control brings us peace and lightness.
Without this release, we can carry pain, regret, anger, and a deep sense of unhappiness.

This week, we’ll be exploring the theme: CHOOSING YOUR BATTLES.
Do we believe that we receive what we perceive? Some may call it karma, fate, manifestation, or simply energy.

In a world where our opinions matter—and so do those of others, even when they challenge our political, religious, or spiritual views—how do we remain seen and heard? How can we move through adversity with grace and peace?

Together, we’ll journey into these questions through our attention to listening, quiet reflection, subtle movement, breathwork, and deep relaxation—supporting each of us in accessing our inner voice of reason and truth.
We will be dedicating our intention to WORLD PEACE. 🙏

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

The other day a good friend gently said to me “You are Poor”.

For a moment I responded with sadness as I felt a deep lack welling up inside of me. I’ll also admit I felt a bit uncomfortable with being perceived in this way. Then I stopped and quietly reflected on this point of view.

Is this true I asked myself?
I came to the conclusion quite quickly that I didn’t believe this to be true. In fact I felt quite the opposite.

I didn’t actually FEEL poor. In fact it had NEVER even occurred to me.

Why don’t I feel as though I’m poor? If I’m perceived in this way then surely this must be true?

So I considered this view, well I rent and don’t own bricks and mortar in the UK.

All of my worldly possessions could be placed into one average sized room.

Like millions of others in this country I shall probably need to work for the rest of my life as it’s hard to live on a state pension.

I live mainly on credit.

I drive an old and slightly beaten up car.

I have friends and family that I love and I know love me but tend to spend a lot of my time alone.

The conclusion I came to is that I have CHOSEN to live the way I live my life and whilst it hasn’t been an easy journey, I’ve CHOSEN it and not through hardship or a lack of something.

Therefore I don’t feel poor. I have the good fortune of having someone always in close proximity that can teach me a valued lesson. That person is YOU!!!

Another wise old friend recently pointed out to me when I asked him how he was, simply replied.

“I HAVE ENOUGH”🙏❤️
