Neurophysiology can feel like one of the toughest parts of neuroscience, but it doesn’t have to be.

Join Dr Paul Hubbard (Newcastle University Medical School) for a focused training session introducing the core principles of neurophysiology in the brain and spinal cord.

This session is designed for neuroscience students and early-career practitioners looking to better understand how neurones and glia communicate, and how changes in brain physiology lead to disease.

You’ll explore:
• Core neurophysiological principles
• Neuronal communication and synaptic function
• Application to clinical conditions, including motor neurone disease and Guillain-Barré syndrome

📅 26 February 2026 | 🕑 2–5 pm (Online)

Certificate of attendance included.
