We're open Tuesday to Saturday, we test on Wednesdays and Thursdays and we want to help you obsess over your eyewear instead of leaving you to browse a wall of frames that all look the same with no guidance!

We're back and we're open for business again after a bit of a break! Loads of colourful frames on the shelves, waiting to perk up the winter nights.

Then back to normal!

Why am I posting a picture of a bike and not some beautiful specs? Because I'll be riding this down a mountain tomorrow (Friday) instead of being open.

I'll be sure to be the slowest person there so I don't injure myself.

We will be closed from August 30th to September 9th so I can swan off to Nice for a holiday!

It's a couple of weeks away yet and we have spaces for tests if you want one, I'm here to order contact lenses if you need them and we can still get specs made and ready before I go if you need/want something new!

I haven't posted for a while and this is a slightly low effort post to let you know I'll be closing at 3pm today (27/07) and I will be closed all day next Friday (01/08).

These are pretty though, so that'll soften the blow of me not being here for a day!

Things are starting to pick up a bit, if you're looking for a test, we're full next week but have spaces the following week, so give us a shout and get booked in! Get ahead in the queue!

I try not to ask for a lot from you lovely people that follow us on here, but I would love to get that review count into triple figures. And hopefully stay at ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!

I'm a bit scared to ask, tbh, as I really worry about losing that 5⭐ score, but if you've been to us and you haven't left a review, could you just take a minute and please add one?

Our Google rating is the main reason people choose Bramley Pope over other Opticians and the really wonderful things that have been said in the reviews are a big help on swaying people too.

On a more personal note, I read every one of them and it's genuinely heartwarming to see how much what we do is appreciated.

I'm quite fed up with seeing the words "This hack is a game changer" and would like to delete my Facebook account.

I keep it for this page.

Could I persuade you all to migrate to our Instagram page so I can get this element of Facebook to do one and just focus on that element of Meta Industries 9000? I post the exact same stuff over there and it's a bit less spammy!

I think I'll say that I'll be deleting this at the end of August?
