Feeling tired, low, or achy? It could be your vitamin D...

So what is Vitamin D?
- We get it from sunlight

- Low levels can affect energy + mood

So what can you do to increase your Vitamin D?
- Get outside when you can (even short walks help)
- Eat foods like eggs, oily fish & fortified cereals
- Consider a daily supplement (especially in winter)
- Speak to a pharmacist if you’re unsure

Heading away soon? Don’t forget your medication plan ✈️

Travelling can easily throw off your routine, so here are our top tips for keeping things simple and organised:

- Pack enough medication (plus a little extra)
- Keep everything in labelled packaging
- Check how your meds should be stored
- Set reminders so you don’t miss a dose

If you take multiple medications, organising them ahead of time (like using our pre-sorted pouches) can make things so much easier while you’re away. 💙

Add this to your spring clean checklist:

- Check expiry dates
- Store supplements properly
- Replace anything out of date

Shingles is a painful infection caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox.

Early symptoms often start before the rash appears, which is why recognising the signs can help you seek treatment quickly.

Antiviral medicines work best when started early, so it’s important to speak to a healthcare professional if you think you may have shingles.

How do GLP-1 weight loss medications actually work?

These medications mimic a natural hormone in the body that helps regulate appetite and fullness. Many people find they feel satisfied with smaller portions and fewer cravings, which can support weight loss alongside healthy lifestyle habits.

But they’re not a “quick fix” - they’re designed to work as part of a wider, medically supervised weight-management plan.

Learn more about how GLP-1'swork and who they may be suitable for in our Health Hub guide: https://pilltime.co.uk/health-hub/glp-1-injections-for-weight-loss

Observing Ramadan while using GLP-1 medications?

Fasting can affect appetite, hydration and energy levels, especially when combined with medications that reduce hunger.

• Hydration between iftar and suhoor
• Balanced meals to support energy levels
• Listening to your body, especially if you feel dizzy, weak, or unwell

Ramadan Mubarak to everyone observing.
