Cup Ping Pong - Bounce & Score🏓

We’ve started a weekly activity of “bounce and score” or “cup ping pong” and it’s going down a treat🏓

A great group activity that focuses on hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, and creates a sea of smiles and laughter😀

Children In Need🧸

As well as our “Challenge 25” campaign we are supporting, the staff of Ladden View entered their bakes into our Children In Need Bake Off🧁🍰

Our Head Chef, Jamie, along with our wonderful residents taste tested each entry and chose their winner…our fantastic kitchen assistant, Jhoy, with her delicious Coconut & Yum Cake🧁

The staff and residents of Ladden View Care Home are excited to announce our participation in the "Challenge Yourself 2025" campaign, as part of the "BBC Children in Need Challenge Yourself to 25" initiative. Throughout November, we will be engaging in 25 minutes of exercise each day for 25 days, which will include enjoyable activities such as walks around our beautiful area, seated exercise classes tailored for all abilities, and lively dancing sessions that bring joy and movement into our lives.

This campaign is not just about physical activity; it is a vital opportunity for us to advocate for the well-being of children in need. By participating, we aim to raise awareness and funds that will directly support those who require assistance. Every step we take and every minute we spend exercising contributes to a larger cause that impacts countless lives.

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming 1st Yate Scout Group to Ladden View to learn a great skill of sewing from our residents🪡

The residents were so keen to teach and encourage the children to learn a great skill of sewing and we had a fantastic afternoon together doing so.
The children walked away gaining a new skill that they can continue to practice and perfect with their sewing kits🪡🧵

Come along between 5pm and 7pm where you will be invited to take part in our Children’s Costume Competition and enjoy our Spooky Garden Trail, along with some goodies and sweet treats🍪🍬🍫

You will arrive via our Main Reception and exit through our Garden Spooky Trail🎃
