Huge excitement as Long Ashton Disco Night returns
Raving for the community!
Earlier this year Long Ashton Community Centre was home to a bangin’ disco where two of LA’s legendary DJs played a perfect mix of disco and dance to raise money for the centre.
DJ Lavender kicked off his career with a few bits of vinyl and a drum machine. Now, he whips up the dance floor with his infectious tunes and throws some sweet moves too! DJ Pedro, aka pot-of-tea Pete, has played bubblin’ gigs across London for 19 years but says his most loved sessions were laying down the soul and jazz during the Bristol Harbour Festival on sunny afternoons.
Both DJs were stoked to bring their top sets to Long Ashton and the Community Centre was transformed into the ultimate disco dance hall with a massive cache of lights, glittering mirror ball, punchinella and a licensed bar.
