I have completed The Butterfly Touch Therapies Course for Reflexology in Cancer Care. I have found this course to be extremely helpful and can highly recommend it for fellow reflexologists.
Reflexology is a wonderful therapy for everyone, but especially for those going through the distress of cancer.
As a trained oncology reflexologist I provide a calm relaxing space for patients during all stages of their treatment. I work from home but can arrange house calls for patients that are unable to travel, (within my local area).

RESTLESS LEG SYNDROME
Has anyone experienced it? I have, and it is really annoying as it usually starts in the evenings and continues when I get into bed. I can feel really tired but somehow my legs feel they could run a marathon!

There are many theories as to why people get restless leg syndrome. Chemical imbalance is one, but from my own experience of RLS I have noticed it happens when I do exercise, e.g. cycling, running or squats. I also had it many years ago during pregnancy.

If you too suffer from RLS I recommend you read the NHS page on the subject, (see link below). As for treatments, I find stretching out the calves in the standing position, (see image) and holding the stretch for a minute or two helps to relieve the symptoms. (Thanks to my partner Martyn for the reluctant demo).

If you are already in bed, (trying to run that marathon!), you can still do a calf stretch in the supine position (on your back), by pulling your toes towards your shins, hold for a few seconds, and then pointing them away from your legs, (think of a ballet dancer pointing her toes).

My Natural Therapy candles, created by me with you in mind. It's been a anxious year for everyone and during lockdown I couldn't treat anyone for massage or reflexology. Add to that a loved one that still needs to be very careful during the continuing covid 19 crisis and there you have it, a therapist not being able to practice. So, in the interim I developed a new candle brand, made with wellbeing in mind, and the environment. Using natural waxes, essential oils and choosing fragrance blends that I hope will help to relax and calm in these anxious times.

Easy to follow recipe, I got mine from the BBC Goodfood website. I ordered my citric acid from Amazon but you could try your local chemist too.
Donโ€™t wait to pick your elderflowers, as it wonโ€™t be around for much longer, you can put it in the freezer until you have all the other ingredients ready.
Tip. I use 1 lemon and 2 oranges per batch, as I think it already has enough sharpness from the citric acid.
