Jodies journey so far ☺️

She came to me with a goal to feel mint but to look like someone who goes to the gym

She’s a mum so often everyone else went first

Breakfast was missed

No time to train

Evenings were her time but it ended up being wine and chocolate to feel a little better

I said to her it doesn’t need to be this way

I explained to her the phases we would go through to get there

I listened to her lifestyle and built a plan around her

Got her using her time better

Got her showing up as the version of herself she wants to be 💃

And we are now nearly through the first phase ☺️

Nearly 10kg she has dropped but she’s also been learning how to train to build

How to manage stress and life better

How to manage social events better

Learning that locking in to a goal isn’t a bad thing!

Few more weeks in phase one and then it’s on to the second part 💃💪🍑

My incredible Becky…

I remember coming to me because she was ready to change but was unsure how or if she could

Change can be a hard thing we have to do

Can be hard to let go of hold habits as often they are our current safe space

But together through lots of check ins, voice notes and messages Becky has given her body the cuddle it needed

She has a goal to build muscle which she is absolutely doing but first of all we needed to simply give her body an opportunity to relax and feel nourished

Which someone telling you to do less can be really hard

She did try initially with a previous coach who simply told her to eat more protein and get lifting. But due to nutrient deficiencies her stomach and gut needed fixing first so for her, eating more protein was actually going to just make her ability to digest her nutrition a problem and often why she wanted to walk for so long after meals

Nutrition was gradually built up and tailored to her

She now understands what her body needs and what she’s capable of ❤️

Receiving check in messages where she’s now happy, healthy, not exhausted and stressed and wanting to socialise herself because she’s enjoying her life is just so wonderful for me ☺️

I am so proud of her in more ways than she realises

Just need to get her to smile in her check in photos now 😂💃

Mind muscle connection

When I first started I didn’t know what this was 🙋🏼‍♀️

I just went to the gym

Moved some weight around and thought this would be enough to build

Some exercises did but I noticed other areas didn’t

I grew some good traps 😂 and my glutes grew a bit but my quads never seemed to want to get the memo

I then realised it wasn’t that I needed more

Or I needed to train harder because I learnt what effort was

I wasn’t getting the right connection to the targeted muscles

I really wasn’t thinking about the movement itself

When I started to think about a movement more

Slowed it down

Thought about where the hardest part was

Learnt specific cues that can be helpful for certain muscles

I noticed paired with effort those areas started to grow

These are some of the things I focused on so if your struggle give them a go 🙋🏼‍♀️✌️

If it were easy…..everyone would do it

Going after your goals, making the change isn’t meant to be easy

It’s meant to challenge you and show you what you are capable of

Imagine just walking in to your dream job, doing nothing and being rewarded for this…

Your goals are the same

The truth is, the hard days are the ones that shape you. They build strength, resilience, and confidence. They’re the reason you grow, not the quick fixes or finding the easy route

A few things that help me when it feels tough

✨ I remind myself why I started
✨ I focus on small wins instead of perfection
✨ I rely on habits instead of having motivation every day
✨ I have support instead of trying to do it all my myself and learn off people who have struggled but now are successful

Social media sometimes can make people think it’s easy, that you don’t have to work and I won’t sit here and tell you that it’s going to be easy

But every thing I have worked for, struggled for, pushed through, the tough days has lead me to progress and being stronger than ever!

It’s ok to find it hard, and if you feel this you probably are moving in the direction you want to!

You can achieve anything you set your mind to! Enjoy the journey and lean in to the hard parts, this is where you are growing!

So many ladies settle

Settle feeling stressed and self sabotaging themselves

Settle being unhappy in their bodies and thinking they can’t feel good

But one of the biggest barriers that holds us back is our response

Rather than waiting until life is less stressful

Waiting for the perfect time to work on yourself

You need to start learning how to respond to things

This is exactly what Paula did!

She didn’t feel good

We set some goals, she wanted to feel strong and feel happy in her body

The plan absolutely works and I am confident in that

But getting clients to believe in themselves, respond to the negatives thoughts in ways that won’t hold them back is where the real progress lies!

I pushed Paula!

But she’s now the strongest both physically and mentally she has ever been!

Going to be 60 next year and we plan to continue to thrive!

Don’t settle ladies!

Julia has always been in to health and fitness

Back in April she has her first child Theo 💙

She found it hard seeing her body change even though it’s an amazing thing to go through I can imagine it must be difficult for mums

We focused on recovery to start with and then we set out a plan

We started with 3 sessions per week which has now built up to 4

She had the option to do gym or home based on wait was easier for her

She focused on protein and calorie counting across the week to have more flexibility

She’s totally smashed it lost 7kg feeling more herself and the goal is to build calories up and focus on building the strongest Julia yet!

It’s not a weight loss competition!

During our journey we will see people lose a large amount of weight and think why am I not losing the same weight

But it should never be about losing as much weight as possible

This lady was new to weight training when we started and not getting enough protein

She also doesn’t have weight to lose but a recomp in her body

Her body composition has changed so much

She’s now stronger than she was before

But there is only 1kg difference on the scales between these photos

Just because you don’t lose lots of weight doesn’t mean your not making mega progress

This is why photos are so beneficial to your journey!

You can absolutely transform your body as you get older

Lifestyle changes for females over the age of 40 become even more important due to the hormonal changes

But with the right changes, the right guidance you can make amazing progress

Julia has investing in making those changes but now not only does she feel more confident and strong she enjoys her lifestyle

She’s now currently eat at maintenance, focusing on feeling strong and fit

She’s doesn’t track her food all the time as she now knows how to eat well, and manage social events

Currently half way through Nicolas fat loss phase

She has also had 2 holidays, and got married during this time! So you can make progress during a social time of your life with the right plan!

We are focusing on building solid habits that she will continue

Strength training 3x a week and building her confidence in the gym

Tracking her food and prioritising a good quality diet

Regular movement throughout the day

These habits post diet we want to still maintain but bring the food out of the calorie deficit

Looking forward to seeing the end results in a few weeks time and the progress is already amazing!

Lynda competes next month and I am so excited for her

I took over her prep and her dedication and discipline has been amazing 🤩

The last few weeks of prep aren’t easy, the body and mind are tired as being lean isn’t easy!

But it’s so worth it show day!

Can’t wait to see her hit the stage next month

I want to empower females to feel strong

Many females struggle to understand nutrition as there is a lot of bu****it out there

I want them to feel confident training by themselves as we know the strength training can really transform your body

Sasha has absolutely smashed it

She’s now educated around nutrition and training

She trains 4x a week and feels strong and confident

Shes also 15kg lighter now 💃🏼

Her lifestyle is something she very much enjoys and now the focus is to continue getting stronger and fuel her body

Weight training when you first start out can be scary

No one starts knowing what to do so must of us just stick with cardio

But it’s the strength training that changes your shape, it gives you your strength with as females we want to keep as we get older

Sarah has absolutely smashed it, those glutes 🍑

We haven’t done this through simply eating no food she has spent time fuelling her body, training hard at the gym and now she’s absolutely smashing it!
