Chartwell House Care Home

Chartwell House Care Home We believe care is more than just a service; it's a profound feeling of comfort, security, and genuine connection.
(1)

Chartwell House is supported by a team of experienced and dedicated individuals, who not only provide outstanding tailored care, but also help residents with all aspects of their lives, from creating long-lasting friendships to enjoying nutritious homecooked food. The building does not make our home, our people do. We are a family run business with over twenty years’ experience. Our team has owned, operated and managed a number of successful care homes in the South East of England. From the beginning, our objective was simple; to deliver the highest quality care from a dedicated team in a safe, modern and warm environment. We know what it takes to provide a home that we can all be proud of.

We had such festive fun with Charlie this morning, he brought a smile to every single face in the room! 🎅🎶💛

It was our last session with him for the year, and what a wonderful note to end on. Thank you, Charlie, for filling our home with so much joy, warmth and laughter. We appreciate you more than you know 🤗✨

It’s all hands on deck here at Chartwell House as we get ready for our Festive Food Pantry this weekend! 🎄✨

Our residents had the best time putting together the sweetie bags… and yes, a couple may have been taste-tested along the way 😋🍬💕

There’s nothing like a busy, joy-filled home in the run-up to Christmas!

At Chartwell House, community isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we feel, every single day 💛✨

Yesterday, we were absolutely delighted to receive a generous donation from the wonderful students and staff at College for our upcoming Festive Food Bank, taking place this

Saturday at St Christopher’s Church, Newington (10am–2pm).

We’re lucky to work closely with the college throughout the year, and it truly is a partnership that brings so much joy and value to everyone involved 🤝💫

Not only did the students organise a collection point at the college, but they also took the time to create the most beautiful handmade Christmas cards for our residents 🎁✨🎄 A small gesture with a big heart, and our residents were absolutely chuffed!

Thank you, EKC Broadstairs College , for sprinkling a little extra kindness into our Christmas season 💛

Our lovely Mavis jumped in to help carer Karen fold the napkins for supper, a simple task, but one filled with pride, laughter, and that wonderful sense of togetherness 💛🍽️

✨ Elf Day Magic at Chartwell House! ✨

As many of you know, Wednesday was Elf Day… and goodness, did our home sparkle! 💚🎄🧝‍♀️

But Elf Day isn’t just about popping on pointy ears and jingling bells, it’s a heartfelt charity day supporting the Alzheimer's Society , a cause incredibly close to our hearts and, we know, to many of yours too. 💙

We’re absolutely over the moon to share that alongside all the laughter, festive mischief, and joyful moments between residents and our team, we raised an incredible £537.52 to donate to the Alzheimer's Society 🎉💚

A huge part of this total came from the fabulous duo Helen (Receptionist) and Trudy (Team Leader), who teamed up as “Truely Helegant”, and honestly, what a powerhouse pair they turned out to be! ✨
💫 Helen lovingly created and sold beautiful bracelets
💫 Trudy knitted a wonderful variety of handmade items
Together, they raised a phenomenal £452! 🙌💚

The remaining £85 came from the raffle of a gorgeous hamper kindly made by Natalie’s mum and auntie and we’re so grateful for their generosity and creativity. 🎁💐

To every single one of you who bought a bracelet, snapped up a knitted treasure, or purchased a raffle ticket, thank you. Your kindness, support, and community spirit mean the world to us, and to our residents. 💚

It truly was Elf Day at its very best, full of heart, joy, and care that brings us all together. 🧝‍♂️✨
