Chartwell House is supported by a team of experienced and dedicated individuals, who not only provide outstanding tailored care, but also help residents with all aspects of their lives, from creating long-lasting friendships to enjoying nutritious homecooked food. The building does not make our home, our people do. We are a family run business with over twenty years’ experience. Our team has owned, operated and managed a number of successful care homes in the South East of England. From the beginning, our objective was simple; to deliver the highest quality care from a dedicated team in a safe, modern and warm environment. We had the loveliest surprise at Chartwell House this week 💛✨

Patricia and Maria, our wonderful Natalie’s mum and auntie, popped in with the most beautiful handmade hampers 🎁💕 Carefully put together with so much love, these gorgeous hampers will be used as prizes for both our Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day and our Elf Day Alzheimer’s Society fundraiser 🎄🧝‍♀️💙

Their kindness, creativity and generosity really warmed our hearts. It’s moments like these that remind us how lucky we are to be surrounded by such a caring community ❤️

What a lovely evening we had on Tuesday at our Residents & Relatives Meeting at Chartwell House 💛✨

The cheese and crackers were delicious 🧀, the wine was flowing 🍷, and our Remembrance Quiz brought gentle moments of reflection 🇬🇧🌹.

And of course… our Ruthless Raffle certainly lived up to its name 🤭🎟️ Lots of laughs, a little friendly competition, and plenty of fun!

☕💬 Coffee Connections is back at Chartwell House!

We’re looking forward to another heart-warming afternoon together on Thursday 20th November, 2.30pm–4pm, and this month we’ve added a little extra sparkle ✨

We’ll be joined by a wonderful singer who’ll be filling the home with feel-good music, the perfect backdrop for a cosy cuppa, friendly chats, and a chance to simply unwind in great company 🎶💛

Whether you come along on your own or bring a friend or neighbour, you’ll be welcomed with open arms. These moments of connection really do mean the world to us, and we love seeing our community come together in such a warm, relaxed way 🤗☕

💜 Lavender, Laughter & a Little Bit of Love 💜

Our residents spent a wonderfully relaxing afternoon making beautiful lavender bags for the Wildwood Kent 🦋

The lavender we used came straight from our very own gardens, lovingly picked by our residents, who carefully gathered each fragrant bud before filling the drawstring bags to keep that gorgeous scent nice and strong 🌸✨

It was one of those calm, joy-filled afternoons where conversation flowed, memories were shared, and everyone felt proud to be creating something special for such a lovely charity 🌿💚

Moments like these remind us how the simplest activities can bring so much happiness and purpose 💖

🌹 A Morning of Remembrance and Reflection 🌹

This morning, our residents joined the beautiful Remembrance Service at St Mark's Church, Ramsgate , and what a touching morning it was. 💖

Coming together with our local community to pause, reflect and honour those who bravely served means so much to everyone at Chartwell House. For many of our residents, these moments hold deep personal memories, stories of loved ones, courage and hope that continue to inspire us all. ✨

As we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, we’re reminded of the words that resonate so deeply today “They gave their today for our tomorrow.” 🌺

A heartfelt thank you to Judith for arranging such a meaningful service, and to the staff and students at St Georges CofE foundation school for joining us, your presence truly made the morning even more special. 🌹

Today at Chartwell House Care Home, we paused together to honour and remember all those who served and sacrificed for our freedom. 🇬🇧✨

Our residents and team came together in quiet reflection, sharing stories, memories, and moments of gratitude for the bravery of so many. The act of remembrance holds a special place in all our hearts, reminding us of courage, unity, and love that transcends generations. 🙏

🎶✨ Swinging into the weekend at Chartwell House! ✨🎶

This week we were treated to an incredible performance from the extremely talented Liam Joseph 🎤💫 His smooth vocals and timeless tunes had everyone tapping their toes, clapping along, and singing their hearts out to some all-time house favourites! 💃🕺

There’s nothing quite like live music to lift the spirits and fill the home with smiles and Liam certainly did just that. ❤️🎵

🧀🍷 Join Us for Our Relatives Meeting at Chartwell House! 🇬🇧✨

We’re looking forward to welcoming our residents, families and team members on Tuesday 11th November, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, for a special Remembrance-themed Cheese & Wine Quiz Night 🕯️🎖️

These evenings are such an important part of life at Chartwell House a chance to spend meaningful, laughter-filled time together, catch up on what’s ahead, and share ideas in a relaxed, friendly setting 💬❤️

As we gather, we’ll also be starting our collection for this year’s Festive Food Pantry 🎁🍪
Please feel free to bring along a donation and in return, you’ll receive a free “Ruthless Raffle” ticket for a bit of hilarity and fun on the night! 🎟️😂

✨🎆 What a night at Chartwell House!🎆✨

If our residents can’t make it to a fireworks display… we’ll simply bring the fireworks to them! 💥💖

Last night, Chartwell House lit up the sky (and a few happy faces too!) with our very own fireworks celebration. 🌌 Residents waved their glow sticks high, enjoyed hot dogs and hot chocolates on tap ☕🌭, and shared plenty of oohs, aahs, and laughter along the way.

It was one of those truly heart-warming evenings that remind us just how special our Chartwell family is 💫❤️

Our next Stroke Support Group at Chartwell House Care Home takes place on Tuesday 11th November, 2:30–4:00pm, and we’ve got something extra special planned! 🎶
We’ll be joined by the wonderful Laura May, a Kent-based singer bringing swing, jazz, and timeless hits from the 50s to the 80s 🎤✨

🎃🕸️ Happy Halloween from all of us here at Chartwell House! 👻🧡

We’ve had such a spook-tacular afternoon celebrating together! The little ones enjoyed some adorable trick-or-treating around our residents’ rooms 🍬 with plenty of smiles (and sweets!) shared along the way.

Our residents then got their thinking caps on for a fun-filled Halloween quiz 🧠✨ before everyone joined in for some “just for fun” party games including a very competitive mummy wrapping competition… which the children definitely won! 😉🧻

And of course, it wouldn’t be Halloween without a few treats from our amazing kitchen team, who whipped up the most fantastic spooky cakes 🧁🕷️ they looked frightfully good and tasted even better! 😋🎃

A truly magical mix of laughter, generations coming together, and Halloween happiness. 🧙‍♀️🎉
