MenB vaccine
✔ Protects against meningococcal group B (a common cause of meningitis in young children)

🚨RIDGEWAY ROAD CLOSED🚨
The road will be closed from this coming Monday 16th Feb through to Friday 13th March.
Here are the details from the Temporary Traffic Regulation Order:
Ridgeway closed to all vehicles and no parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time from its junction with Dunyeats Road to its junction with Lower Blandford Road. Anticipated dates: 16th February 2026 until 13th March 2026.
Westheath Road closed to all vehicles from outside property No. 6 to it's junction with Ridgeway. Anticipated dates: 16th February 2026 until 13th March 2026.
Kirkway no parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time. Anticipated dates: 2nd March 2026 until 20th March 2026.
Macaulay Road no parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time. Anticipated dates: 9th March 2026 until 27th March 2026.
Tudor Road no parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time. Anticipated dates: 9th March 2026 until 27th March 2026.

On Monday we held our second Veterans coffee and cake afternoon in Poole North. Thankyou to our speaker, James from OpCourage who shared information on mental health and wellbeing support for veterans.

Thankyou also to our team of Care Coordinators, Social Prescribers, Pharmacy & Nursing Team, NHS Healthcare Armed Forces Community Health & Wellbeing Team, Help&Care, Amy Walton, Caroline Hearne and our practice volunteers for supporting the afternoon with providing information, support, blood pressure checks and cake.

It was a great turnout and an opportunity for veterans to meet with others, share ideas and information on groups and services on offer to veterans in the local area.
