This has to be one of the most exquisite things anyone has made for me. I’m absolutely blown away with this beautifully hand stitched and personalised🧵 jacket, depicting all my lovely Spirit Within artwork….Joanne you are one talented and gifted lady 💜💜💜💜💜

🌱 I’ve always been interested in growing my own herbs, veg and fruit but living in some remote places it has not lent itself to a prosperous harvest. If it wasn’t for my sheep jumping over the wall into my garden, the chickens, 🐓 the slugs 🐌 or the extremes in weather, I would always
end up with a poor half chewed and disheveled crop. 🌾
My dream has always been to own a Polycrub or a greenhouse but all I really could afford was a plastic Wendy house version, which blew down in a storm.
It hasn’t dampened my spirit to grow my own and I will find a way one way or another! ☺️

However, I found this chap Simon Akeroyd Garden Writer on Facebook and loved the simplicity of his style of gardening with cheap hints and tips to grow your own, so had to buy his book 📕

I’ll keep you posted to how I get on 🌱

When are we going? 😻🌞

🐱✨ Ever dreamed of living on a Greek island for free? On Syros, you can, if you help care for the island’s stray and rescued cats!

Volunteers commit a few hours a day feeding, cleaning, and socialising the cats, and in return they get free accommodation and utilities. That leaves plenty of time to explore the beautiful Cycladic villages, beaches, and sunsets. 🌊🏠

It’s the ultimate combo of island life and doing good.

When I have a quiet reflective moment in the shop I sometimes like to pick a set of my lovely cards and give myself a wee reading.

✨Took the rare opportunity to have a walk along Blackwaterfoot beach this morning while my husband was doing a job. Stunning morning, still and calm with just a hazy winter sun 🌞
