Tis' the season for charity balls. This one was for a great cause. Walton NHS Foundation Trust and Charity run the superb Jan Fairclough Ball. The charity does amazing work providing support and accommodation for families whose loved one unexpectedly find themselves requiring life saving neurosurgery. So lovely to chat to Professor Paul May and his wife, who themselves have done amazing things with Fletchers Foundation who have supported so many to access our centre. Sincere thanks to for being the best table hosts.

What an incredible day filming with Sky Bet for the British Heart Foundation campaign alongside Jamie Carragher at Tranmere Rovers ⚽️❤️
Many of you will know that during our annual charity match on 17 May at Prenton Park, my brother-in-law Paul Philpotts suffered a sudden cardiac arrest.
Because we were trained in CPR, we were able to jump in immediately — and it saved his life.
We’ll forever be grateful to Debbie Quaile and the amazing Tranmere staff for their fast reactions and use of the on-site defibrillator. If it wasn’t for CPR and that defib, Paul wouldn’t be here today — happy, healthy, and enjoying life with us. 🙏❤️
The campaign encourages everyone to take just 15 minutes to learn CPR and how to use a defibrillator.
