👇There's a few reasons we suggest you have more than one First aider in the work place...👇

1. Coverage at ALL times: First aiders can take holidays, get sick, or work different shifts.

2. Size & layout of the workplace: Larger sites, multiple floors, warehouses, yards, or seperate buildings, meaning a single first aider may not be able to reach an incident quickly.

3. Simultaneous incidents: More than one person could be injured at the same time. One First Aider cannot safely manage multiple casualties alone.

4. HSE Expectations: Whilst the law doesn't specify a number, the First Aid regulations require employers to provide adequate and appropriate First Aid. HSE guidance strongly implies multiple first aiders where absence, risk, or workforce size would otherwise leave gaps.

5. Confidence and response quality: More trained First Aiders means; Faster response times, less panic in emergencies, better support for injured person, reduced pressure on one individual.

6. Business Resilience: Relying on one person creates a single point of failure. Multiple First Aiders improve safety culture and resilience!
