In order to meet the growing demands of our expanding client base AllDaySafety Training Ltd are actively recruiting freelance trainers with the capacity to take on more work across all construction industry Health and Safety training topics and associated standards.

Bookings would be primarily in and around London although travel to other areas may be required on occasion.

We are also a CITB ATO for SSP courses so qualification in this area would be highly beneficial.

Last Chance for CITB Site Safety Plus Refreshers

In case you were not already aware – due to the restrictions in place for most of last year, The CITB granted a grace period for individuals requiring refresher courses to maintain their ‘Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme’ (SSSTS) and ‘Site Management Safety Training Scheme’ (SMSTS) qualifications.

Anyone whose certificate expired after 1st October 2020 only has until the end of April to complete their refresher course otherwise they will need to take the full course again.

This is the last opportunity to take your refresher course before the grace period ends. Spaces are limited and we are expecting high demand so we urge you to book swiftly to avoid disappointment.

CITB Site Safety Plus 'SSSTS' course - Held remotely on Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd March

This course is for you if you’re considering, or already have, supervisory responsibilities.

It is endorsed by Build UK as the standard training for all supervisors working on Build UK sites and provides an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues. It highlights legal responsibilities and the need to promote health and safety to supervise effectively.

At the end of the course you will have an understanding of:
- Health and safety law and how it applies to supervisors
- Your supervisory responsibilities in controlling site safely
- Risk assessments and the need for method statements
- Effective site inductions, toolbox talks and method statement briefings
- Monitoring site activities effectively
- Timely intervention when bad practice is identified

Certification for this course is valid for 5 years.

If your SMSTS certificate has expired since 1st October 2020 you are still within the grace period granted by the CITB to take a refresher course (instead of having to re-take the whole 5 day course again) - but not for much longer.

Virtual Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course available over 5 Thursdays starting 4th March .....email us to book your place before it's full!

This course is for you if you’re considering, or already have, responsibilities for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering groups of staff e.g. site manager.

It covers all relevant legislation affecting safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture within the workforce.

This course is endorsed by Build UK as the standard training for all construction managers.

At the end of the course you will be able to:
- Implement all health, safety, welfare and environmental legislation affecting your daily work
- Implement new guidance and industry best practice
- State your duties and responsibilities with regards to health, safety, welfare and the environment

Certification for this course is valid for 5 years.
