For World Mental Health Day, here’s a reminder of the importance of reaching out for help. According to British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), nearly a third of UK adults accessed counselling in 2024, yet that’s just a fraction of those in need. Over 88% of adults agree that therapy should be accessible to everyone, but stigma still lingers.

ACT is proud to share that last year we offered 4,138 free or low cost therapy sessions to adults from diverse background.

It’s crucial to express your struggles and seek support. Whether through charities, therapists, or talking with loved ones, every voice matters in breaking the silence on mental health. Let’s advocate for more accessible mental health services!
