Meet Jeff, Target member
“Seeing my self in pictures slowly gaining weight overtime and having to wear bigger clothes that fitted badly was the final straw.
I’d lost weight before but it always crept back on. I wanted to find a plan to get it off and keep it off! Food optimising is about eating a well balanced diet with protein and speedy foods that are satisfying.
We are a family of four adults and the whole family enjoy the same meals. Our favourite is salmon cooked in the oven with stirfried vegetables and noodles. Holidays and celebrations can be difficult. The temptation of beer, wine, sausage rolls and party food can be a challenge but using Slimming World strategies helps me make good choices without feeling deprived. Before Slimming World my BMI was in the obese range and my diabetes. Blood levels were approaching pre-diabetic levels. Losing weight was essential.
My Slimming World journey is one I didn’t have to do alone. As well as the support from Avril and my group I was together with my wife Debbie and we supported each other throughout. ❤️, if you are toying with the idea of losing weight I totally recommend Avril’s friendly, fun and supportive groups”
