🌟 Celebrating Sarah’s Incredible Achievement 🌟

We are so proud to share that Sarah Jackson, our Nurse Practitioner from Bromley GP Alliance, has won an Ab Fab Individual Recognition Award at the London Network for Nurses and Midwifery (LNNM) Conference 🎉

Sarah was nominated for her outstanding work developing health services for people experiencing homelessness in Bromley. She has gone above and beyond to help grow the service, ensuring consistent, compassionate care for those who need it most.

The nomination praised Sarah for her commitment, enthusiasm, and tireless partnership working, highlighting how she continually builds strong links across services, shares her knowledge, and cares deeply about the community she serves.

We would also like to acknowledge Jane Cook, who nominated Sarah. Jane is a Queen’s Nurse and founder member of the LNNM Homelessness Group, playing a vital role in developing homelessness health services across London and beyond. We are incredibly grateful for her support and recognition of Sarah’s work.

Congratulations, Sarah — this award is so well deserved, and we are incredibly proud to have you as part of the Bromley Homeless team 💙

It was fantastic to spend time this afternoon with the amazing Extended Access Team at the Beckenham Clinic.

This service has been created to run in the busy winter period from the start of December to the end of January and has:
✅ Provided 11,000 GP appointments in 2 months!
✅ Eased pressure on other NHS services, inc local GP practices and Hospitals
✅ Provided quick, expert, vital care for thousands of residents in Beckenham & Penge

I’m really proud to be supporting this service and of the investment our government is making in the NHS! Thank you to Carly, Andrew, Jonathan and the whole team for meeting with me, and for their brilliant work at the frontline of our local NHS!

5 Years of BGPA

It is hard to believe that BGPA has been around for 5 years, since January 2015, rapidly growing from providing extra appointments for GP practices, to delivering a wide range of services to Bromley patients and in doing so supporting Bromley General Practice. These services include; Access Hubs, phlebotomy, dermatology, headache, vasectomy, OOH GP’s, NHS health checks, chairing ICN MDT meetings, Bromleag Care Practice, supporting Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and supporting the health needs of homeless people in Bromley. Through our Care Practice and other initiatives, we have been involved in the debate on how to manage frailty in Bromley. We are now seen as a permanent Health Partner in Bromley and are established within the One Bromley framework, as well as being recognised by patients as a high-quality provider of Health Care.

BGPA is YOU, the 39 Practices who own it and through that, are part of, and share in, the success story of the BGPA .. , Together, we believe in every consultation mattering. Together we are passionate about health care for Bromley patients and because we want to support each other, we provide the high quality of service that BGPA delivers. During the 5 years all our services have developed the ethos of sharing our professional knowledge and skills with our patients. This is reflected in outstanding patient reviews for each of our services, https://bromleygpalliance.org/ , as well as feedback from you at our practice visits. In 2019, we had a very successful CQC inspection which saw us receive a ‘good’ rating overall with areas of outstanding practice.

Patient Satisfaction

All our services continue to receive high patient satisfaction ratings with many reaching over 90% of patients extremely satisfied or satisfied with the service they received
