Player of the Match awards 🏆
The weather once again played havoc on our schedule but we played some games this weekend.

We had some brilliant team performances including amazing goals and some brilliant defensive performances. These players were the ones who stood out for their teams.

Jasper - U7 Falcons
Jasper absolutely smashed it in defence yet again getting stronger and stronger every week.

Oscar - U8 Foxes
Oscar played brilliantly and full deserved his player of the match award. He displayed all the values of a Unity player.

Rupert - U8 Jaguars
Rupert was chosen by the opposition for his defending and tackles.

Milo - U9 Bears
Milo played in a different position today. He really commanded on the wing plus helped create opportunities for his teammates.

Zac - U9 Dragons 🐉
Zac was solid in defence and showed great pace to stop the counterattacks. Some fantastic passing down the left hand side. Unlucky hitting a post and the bar, but that didn’t stop the smiles.

Noah - U12 Pumas
Noah stepped up to go in goal and absolutely bossed it with some outstanding saves. Brave performance and fully deserved 🧤

Cameron - Cameron
Told us before the game he was feeling confident and he delivered. He mixed in some good saves with coming of his line to deal with some route 1 football and we could hear him most of the game giving his instructions. Well done 👊⚽️

🎉 Players of the Match – Cubs HB9 🎉

A huge shoutout to Chester, Elijah, and Altan—our latest Players of the Match! Each of these young stars showed brilliant effort, teamwork, and spirit on the pitch this week. 🏆

We’re proud to see their hard work recognised with the awards. Keep shining, lads—your energy lifts the whole group. Well done to all the players!

SUNDAY POTM
Tough day for our Dragons today but they all gave 100% during the game.it was great to see the development of the boys as they went up against a strong team today.

The stand out performer today was their GK Teddy. It was great to see how his confidence has grown over the last few months. He made some cracking saves and and it was great to hear him boss the defence around.

We finally managed to get some games for our squads today after what feels like 100 days of rain! ☔️

We had some brilliant team performances including amazing goals and penalty saves. These players were the ones who stood out for their teams.

Nathan - U7 Falcons
Nathan was back to his tenacious best in midfield with excellent passing today.

Finley - U8 Foxes
Finley was captain today and put in a captains performance. A great example of keep smiling and working and a proud moment for him and his family.

Marlow - U8 Jaguars
Great skill on the ball. Was instrumental in our attacking play. He worked tirelessly as he was going from defensive to attacking all game.

Jack - U9 Bears
His first game playing for us and what a game he played. His nerves soon went away when he got his first tackle in and his conduct on and off the pitch was lovely to see.

Teddy - U9 Lion
Excellent display from Teddy working hard in defence and attack. He contributed to a great attacking performance from the Bears today.

Myles - U9 Flamingos
Back to back POTM performances from
Myles. He was rock solid in goal and even made an outstanding penalty save. His performance was reminiscent David Seaman in Euro 96.

Morris - U10 Leopards
Played in both midfield/ defence and covered every blade of grass on the pitch. Effort and desire was top class. Marked their striker out the game second half.

Finley - U10 Tigers
Another week where this could have gone to any of the lads, as the Tigers continue to put in great performances however this weeks POTM goes to Finley for working tirelessly all game despite it being his first match back from injury.

Will - U11 Bengals
Great defensive contribution from our captain today. Pressed well, made tackles and looked to play the ball forward into the channels for us to attack into.

Louie - U12 Pumas
A brilliant defensive display, reading the game well and reacting quickly to every situation.

Bentley - U13 Wolves
Versatile and got stuck into every challenge. Set the example for the rest of his teammates.

Player of the Match awards 🏆
Like most grassroots clubs the rain destroyed our fixture list this weekend but we still managed to get a few games this weekend. As always our players gave their all, with these player standing out…

Thomas - U9 Dragons
Thomas made his debut for the Dragons today and what a debut it was. He made save after save, with the opposition fans talking about how good he was.

Shia - U10 Tigers
Shia ran his socks off for the team, great work rate and effort from start to finish.

Finley - U10 Leopards
Finley put in a brilliant performance with and without the ball. Was full of running and energy.

Fin - U11 Bengals
Fantastic debut for Bengals. Brought some bite to the centre of midfield and showed 100% energy in everything he did

Harry and Lucas - U12 Pumas
The Pumas POTM went to two players because it was simply too difficult to choose between them. Harry for his crucial saves and Lucas for his work rate and impact across the pitch. Both fully deserved it.
