16-year-old Leo from Bromsgrove has been diagnosed with leukaemia and needs a stem cell transplant so he can have a second chance at life.

Leo’s family have organised an event on Sunday 23 November in Bromsgrove, where people can join the register. From 1pm – 6pm at St Godwalds Church Hall, the local community can come down and complete some quick swabs with DKMS, to find out if they are a match for Leo, or another patient in urgent need of a stem cell transplant. He is hoping this will take place after his second round of chemotherapy.

Just 7% of the eligible population are currently signed up and we really need to pump those numbers up!
